Last week the Chiefs faced a revenge-minded Buffalo Bills team. And Kansas City was in the unusual position of being a Betting on NFL home dog. Buffalo prevailed by shooting apart the injury-ravaged Chiefs’ secondary. But Kansas City aided the Bills by relying too much on Patrick Mahomes. Of course, Mahomes ranks among the best quarterbacks in football. But coach Andy Reid has made KC a 1-man team. Meanwhile, the 49ers are coming off a bad loss at the Falcons. QB Jimmy Garoppolo is not moving the needle.

Chiefs vs. 49ers CashBet Wagering Analysis
Despite their Online Sportsbook loss to Buffalo, Kansas City will draw plenty of support. Patrick Mahomes and the Chiefs are too big of a brand for squares to ignore. Meanwhile, the 49ers are damaged goods in the eyes of many members of the casual sector. Jimmy Garoppolo was on the trade market all offseason. But nobody wanted Jimmy G after his arm surgery. Of course, the 49ers are a solid defensive team. And Wise Guys like their value at home against a popular public brand.
Inexperienced Chiefs Defense Cracking Under Pressure
Last game, the Kansas City Chiefs lost 24-20 against the Buffalo Bills as 2.5-point home dogs. The game went under the total of 54. Kansas City has a record of 4-2 straight up, 2-4 against the spread, and 3-3 over/under the Betting on football
total. Kansas City ranks 6th for total offense, 4th for passing, 20th for rushing, and 1st for scoring. Defensively they rank 20th overall, 27th against the pass, 4th against the rush, and 25th for points allowed. Also, KC ranks 11th for turnovers lost and 29th for takeaways.
Josh Allen threw for 329 yards and three touchdowns. Including the go-ahead toss to Dawson Knox with 1:04 left. Patrick Mahomes finished with 338 yards passing with two touchdowns and two interceptions. Including one in the end zone early in the game. JuJu Smith-Schuster had five catches for 113 yards and a touchdown.
But unlike last January, the Bills made the plays down the stretch. Allen’s scrambling, hurdling run on their go-ahead drive got them in scoring position. And his throw to Knox gave the Bills the lead. Following an interception a few minutes later, the Bills had their long-awaited revenge in Kansas City.
Jimmy G and 49ers Looking Like Fool’s Gold
Last game, the San Francisco 49ers lost 28-14 against the Atlanta Falcons as 3.5-point road favorites. The game went under the total of 46. San Francisco has a record of 3-3 straight up, 3-3 against the spread, and 1-5 over/under the NFL bets total. San Francisco ranks 18th for total offense, 22nd for passing, 12th for rushing, and 19th for scoring. Defensively they rank 1st overall, 2nd against the pass, 2nd against the rush, and 2nd for points allowed. Also, San Francisco ranks 22nd for turnovers lost and 21st for takeaways.
Marcus Mariota threw two touchdown passes and ran for another score against the NFL’s top-ranked defense. He finished with 129 yards through the air in Atlanta’s conservative passing game. Also, Mariota ran for 50 yards on six carries.
By contrast, the Niners couldn’t overcome two interceptions by Jimmy Garoppolo and a fumble by Jeff Wilson that resulted in a Falcons touchdown. Also, Atlanta’s defense wasn’t too shabby, either. The Falcons made things tough on Garoppolo. Atlanta limited San Francisco to 50 yards rushing and even scored a touchdown of their own.
San Francisco tied it with touchdowns on back-to-back possessions in the second quarter. First, Garoppolo connected with Aiyuk on a 12-yard score. Next, Ray-Ray McCloud broke off a 35-yard punt return. And then Garoppolo went to Aiyuk again for a 14-yard TD toss. But that was all the points the Niners could muster. The Falcons controlled the clock by outrushing San Francisco 168-50 on a season-high 40 carries.
