Caio Borralho
It took two wins in Dana White’s Contender Series for Caio Borralho to finally compete in the UFC. The first one was against Aaron Jeffrey and that match didn’t convince the UFC President even if he won via unanimous decision. His next fight against Jesse Murray ended in a first-round knockout and it only took Borralho 101 seconds to end the match. Prior to competing in this match, Borralho also competed in Future Fighting Championship, Mega Fight Championship and Batalaha MMA. The only loss that he suffered was way back in July 2015 and it was his second professional bout.
Gadzhi Omargadzhiev
Another Russian fighter is set to make his mark in the UFC and Gadzhi Omargadzhev is oozing with potential. The hype was proven to be real as Dana White tested him during the contender series. Omargadzhev was able to finish Jansey Silva with a kneebar at the 4:19 mark in the first round to earn his ticket and join the UFC roster. Before making his UFC debut, this fierce competitor had competed in Golden Team Championship. This fighter still holds an undefeated record of 13-0 and eight of those wins came from knockouts. He also has three submissions under his name.
