Tony Finau Sends Mixed Messages

Namely, Tony Finau is the 3M Open chalk and ranked 17th on the Official World Golf Ranking.  Finau is coming off a 28th-place finish in The 150th Open Championship.  Before that, Finau finished 13th at the Travelers Championship.  And he missed the cut at the US Open.  On the positive, Finau finished 2nd with the sportsbook odds at the RBC Canadian Open and the Mexico Open at Vidanta.  Last time that Finau scored a win was at the 2021 Northern Trust.

Hideki Matsuyama Blowing Up

Last week was a disaster for Hideki Matsuyama.  He finished 68th at the 150th Open Championship.  Before that, he missed the cut at the Genesis Scottish Open and Did Not Qualify for the Memorial Tournament.  Matsuyama flopped at the PGA Championship with a 60th place finish.  As a result of this ineptitude, Matsuyama has dropped to 14th on the Official World Golf Ranking.  This is the same Matsuyama that won the 2021 Masters Championship.  And had Golf Betting odds wins at the ZOZO Championship and the Sony Open.

Sungjae Im Can’t Yet Dig Out

In like manner to Matsuyama is the struggling Sungjae Im.  He enters the 3M Open ranked 24th on the Official World Golf Ranking.  Im is coming off a pathetic finish of 81st at the 150th Open Championship.  Previously, Im missed the Golf Betting Lines cut at the Genesis Scottish Open and the US Open.  Im does have good recent results of 10th at the Memorial Tournament and 8th at the Masters Tournament.

Maverick McNealy Seeks to Break Out

Overall, Maverick McNealy ranks 70th on the Official World Golf Ranking.  McNealy is coming off a 9th-place finish at the Barracuda Championship.  Also, he was 18th at the Genesis Scottish Open and 8th at the John Deere Classic.  But offsetting that were missed cuts at the Travelers Championship and Charles Schwab Challenge.  McNealy was 75th at the PGA Championship.

Adam Hadwin Seeks Rebound

Last time out for Adam Hadwin was a missed cut at John Deere Classic.  On the other hand, Hadwin finished 7th at the US Open.  This has been a familiar pattern that gamblers have seen with Hadwin.  Only one of his last six tournaments has ended with a top-10 finish.  But Hadwin had three consecutive top-10 finishes before that.  Hadwin ranks 85th on the Official World Golf Ranking.

Davis Riley Limps In After Break

Since finishing 64th at the Travelers Championship, Davis Riley has been off.  Riley has recent finishes of 31st at the US Open, 13th at the Memorial Tournament, and 4th at the Charles Schwab Challenge.
