Consistent Patrick Cantlay Takes the Point

First on the board is Patrick Cantlay.  Cantlay is coming off an 8th place finish at The 150th Open.  It was another impressive finish in a consistent stretch with the sportsbook odds.  Last time that Cantlay won was at the BMW Championship last season.  But he has finished in the top 14 in five consecutive events with three top-8 or better finishes.  Cantlay is 4th on the Official World Golf Ranking.

Tony Finau Rides Win Into Detroit

Second betting choice Tony Finau won the 3M Open.  Finau has climbed from 24th to 16th on the Official World Golf Ranking.  He has finished 13th or better in three of his most recent five events.  In turn, Finau has shown much better Golf Betting odds form after slumping for most of the season.

Stumbling Zalatoris Losing Touch

Late on, Will Zalatoris has struggled after a solid period of Golf Betting Lines

consistency.  Zalatoris is coming off a 28th-place finish at The 150th Open.  Before that, he missed the cut at the Genesis Scottish Open.  Offsetting that was a 2nd place finish at the US Open and 5th at the Masters Tournament.  In sum, Zalatoris ranks 13th on the Official World Golf Ranking.

Mixed Messages of Cameron Young

Last time out for Cameron Young was a 2nd place finish at The 150th Open.  He missed the cut at the Genesis Scottish Open and US Open before that.  He was 60th at the Memorial Tournament.  Yet he had three consecutive finishes of 3rd or better before that.  Young ranks 19th on the Official World Golf Ranking.

Max Homa Struggles to Find Consistency

Max Homa is coming off a missed cut at the 150th Open.  As a result, he is 21st on the Official World Golf Ranking.  Homa recently finished 16th at the Genesis Scottish Open and 47th at the US Open.  On the other hand, he was 5th at the Memorial Tournament and won the Wells Fargo Championship.

Adam is No Great Scott

Adam Scott ranks 40th on the Official World Golf Ranking.  Last time out was a 15th place finish at The 150th Open.  He was 14th at the US Open.  Scott finished 32nd or worse in the four tournaments before that.

Cameron Davis Shows Improved Form

Last week Cameron Davis finished 16th at the 3M Open.  And then he was 6th at the John Deere Classic and 8th at the Travelers Championship.  Davis is 71st on the Official World Golf Ranking.

In this situation, Patrick Cantlay is the justifiable favorite with the Golf Betting Lines.  Additionally, the rest of the field is not as strong as normal.  All of that gives Cantlay a path to victory.
