2022 Wyndham Championship – CashBet Odds Overview

In sum, Sedgefield Country Club is a par 70 and 7,131 yards.  The PGA Tour is up at a Donald Ross venue for the second straight week.  Previously the Tour played the Ross-designed Detroit Golf Club.

Opened in the 1920s, Sedgefield has Ross’ typical small and undulating green.  Although before last sportsbook season, it yielded five straight winning totals of 20 under or lower.  Sedgefield was restored to the original Ross design in 2007.  But it was lengthened to accommodate the PGA Tour.  Sedgefield Country Club has hosted each Wyndham Championship since 2008.

Following numerous close calls, Wyndham Championship winner Webb Simpson is seeking his second win at Sedgefield.  He has finished no worse than seventh in the last five Wyndham Championships.  Including two runners-up and two third-place Golf Betting odds finishes.

Last year Kevin Kisner emerged from a dramatic six-man playoff to capture his fourth PGA TOUR title.

2022 Wyndham Championship Top Contenders

Zalatoris Sends Mixed Signals

Late on, Will Zalatoris has been wildly inconsistent with the Golf Betting Lines.  Zalatoris finished 20th or worse in his most recent three tournaments.  But he finished 6th or better in five of the seven events before that.  Zalatoris is ranked 14th on the Official World Golf Ranking.

Lowry Could Bring Value to Wyndham Board

Shane Lowry ranks 24th on the Official World Golf Ranking.  Last time out, Lowry finished 29th at The Open Championship.  But he was 9th at the Horizon Irish Open.  Lowry missed the cut at the US Open but was 10th at the RBC Canadian Open.

Horschel Slumps After Memorial Tournament Win

Following his win at the Memorial Tournament, Billy Horschel has finished 21st or worse four straight times.  He ranks 15th on the Official World Golf Ranking.

Im Finishes Strong at 3M Open

Last time out, Sungjae Im finished 2nd at the 3M Open.  It was an impressive comeback after three straight finishes of 81st or worse.  Im ranks 21st on the Official World Golf Ranking.

Webb Simpson Continues Dramatic Fall

Webb Simpson has collapsed after ranking 6th on the Official World Golf Ranking in 2021.  Concurrently he is 69th on the OWGR charts entering the Wyndham Championship.  Simpson has finished in the top 20 in just one of his last 14 tournaments.

Scott is Not So Great Recently

Adam Scott is ranked 41st on the Official World Golf Ranking.  Of great concern is that he failed to crack the top ten in nine of his last ten events.  Scott is coming off a 31st place finish at the Rocket Mortgage Classic.
