At the onset of the week is excitement and anticipation with the Golf betting lines. The TOUR Championship is on the line. And Scottie Scheffler is in range to hoist the FedEx Cup trophy. First place in the standings belongs to Scheffler. And he is the betting favorite for this week’s grand finale at the East Lake Golf Club in Atlanta, Georgia. But a loaded lineup of competitors will not let Scottie have an easy walk. Second place Patrick Cantlay is a threat in his own right. And gamblers have made him an alternate favorite with Xander Schauffele.

Scottie Scheffler Seeks to Cap Off Dream Season
First place in the standings belongs to Scottie Scheffler. He ranks atop the Official World Golf Ranking as well. Scheffler is coming off a third-place finish at the BMW Championship. Previously he missed the cut in two of his most recent three tournaments. The BMW Championship got Scheffler back on track.
Of course, Scheffler was the hottest sportsbook odds brand earlier this year. His crowning achievement was a win at the Masters Tournament. That was his fourth win in a span of six events. Following the Masters, Scheffler cooled off. But he looks ready to close.
Can Cantlay Climb to the Top?
Second, on the FedEx Tour standings is Patrick Cantlay. And he is third on the Official World Golf Ranking. Last week at the BMW Championship, Cantlay delivered the Golf Wagering Odds win. That was a strong recovery after a 57th place finishes at the FedEx St. Jude Championship. Cantlay has finished in the top eight in four of his most recent five events.
Zalatoris Brings Bad Back to Atlanta
Of great concern is that Will Zalatoris had to withdraw last week at the BMW Championship. A bad back was the reason. But Zalatoris will try and make a go at the TOUR Championship this week. Concurrently he ranks 3rd in the FedEx Cup standings and 9th on the Official World Golf Ranking.
Xander Schauffele Climbs Two Spots
Following a 3rd place finish at the BMW Championship, Xander Schauffele is 4th in the FedEx Cup standings. Also, Schauffele is 5th on the Official World Golf Ranking. Schauffele finished an abysmal 57th at the FedEx St. Jude Championship. And he was 15th at the Open Championship. However, he was the winner of the Genesis Scottish Open and the Travelers Championship.
Burns Quietly Lurks in Striking Distance
Sam Burns is 5th in the FedEx Cup standings and 12th on the Official World Golf Ranking. Previously this season, Burns won the Charles Schwab Challenge and Valspar Championship. But recently, he has struggled to keep pace with the playoff spotlight on him. Burns was 19th at the BMW Championship and 20th at the FedEx St. Jude Championship.
Cameron Smith Climbs the OWGR
Second, on the Official World Golf Ranking belongs to Cameron Smith. He is 6th in the FedEx Cup standings. Of course, Smith is best known for winning the Open Championship. However, he was 13th at the FedEx St. Jude Championship and DNS at the BMW Championship. Also, Smith won THE PLAYERS Championship this season.
2022 TOUR Championship CashBet Free Pick
Although his price is high with the Golf Betting Lines, Scottie Scheffler makes the most sense. He has enjoyed a breakout season and has shown enough to merit the choice to close for the TOUR Championship.
