Baltimore overcame numerous defensive injuries early in the season. Subsequently, they got past the loss of Lamar Jackson for five starts to gain the playoffs. The Ravens overcame a repeat of their end-of-season collapse of 2021 that cost them the playoffs. Tyler Huntley has proven to be an adequate replacement for Jackson. However, he is nowhere near his peak production level. What Baltimore brings to the NFL playoffs is one of the best and toughest defenses in the NFL. But the loss of Jackson means that the Super Bowl is likely betting on NFL pipedream.

Ravens vs. Bengals CashBet Wagering Analysis
It is true that the Ravens redeemed themselves somewhat in 2022 by gaining the playoffs. After blowing what seemed to be a certain postseason berth in 2021. But Baltimore is decimated at QB with starter Lamar Jackson out indefinitely with a knee injury. Also, backup Tyler Huntley is in day-to-day status with a wrist issue. That does not bode well against the Bengals and superstar QB Joe “Cool” Burrow. The defending AFC champions proved that their 2021 AFC championship was no sportsbook fluke. Indeed, Cincinnati is an even better team this season.
Baltimore is Raven for an Upset
Last game, the Baltimore Ravens lost 27-16 against the Cincinnati Bengals as 11-point road dogs. The game went over the Betting on football total of 39. Baltimore has a record of 10-7 straight up, 6-9-2 against the spread, and 5-12 over/under the total. Baltimore ranks 16th for total offense, 28th for passing, 2nd for rushing, and 19th for scoring. Defensively they rank 10th overall, 26th against the pass, 3rd against the rush, and 3rd for points allowed. Also, Baltimore ranks 10th for fewest turnovers lost and 8th for takeaways.
The Ravens fought gamely behind rookie third-string QB Anthony Brown. But rather than go all-out for the slim chance of getting a home playoff game, Ravens coach John Harbaugh went vanilla. To show, Baltimore was without its two top quarterbacks.
Lamar Jackson hasn’t practiced since his knee injury in a December 4 game against the Broncos. And it’s unclear whether he will be available for the playoffs. Backup Tyler Huntley has been banged up and was inactive on Sunday. Also, the Ravens rested two of their biggest offensive weapons, Mark Andrews and J.K. Dobbins.
Cincinnati scored two first-half touchdowns after intercepting Brown. And they got another when he fumbled while being sacked in his own end zone. In sum, Brown went 19 of 44 for 286 yards in his first NFL start. Kenyan Drake scored for Ravens on a 4-yard run in the first half. Additionally, Justin Tucker kicked three field goals.
Bengals Don’t Bungle Repeat Season of Glory
Last game, the Cincinnati Bengals won 27-16 against the Baltimore Ravens as 11-point home favorites. The game went over the total of 39.5. Cincinnati has a record of 12-4 straight up, 12-3-1 against the spread, and 6-9-1 over/under the NFL bets total. Cincinnati ranks 8th for total offense, 5th for passing, 29th for rushing, and 7th for scoring. Defensively they rank 16th overall, 23rd against the pass, 7th against the rush, and 9th for points allowed. Also, Cincinnati ranks 4th for fewest turnovers lost and 9th for takeaways.
Namely, Joe Burrow threw for a touchdown. And then Joe Mixon ran for another as the Bengals took advantage of four Ravens turnovers to win. On Sunday, the Bengals beat a Ravens team that rested some key players ahead of the postseason. Hence, they avoided a coin flip to determine the site of their playoff game against Baltimore. Burrow finished 25 of 42 for 215 yards and a touchdown, although he struggled after halftime.
