Packers Hope to Feel the Love of a New Era for the 2023 NFL Betting Season

2023-24 Green Bay Packers Super Bowl Championship Future Odds

Overall, there is a betting on NFL theory that the Green Bay Packers offense will flip with Aaron Rodgers out and Jordan Love in.  The expectation is that it will more closely resemble the scheme that coach Matt LaFleur wanted to implement.  Now that the transition process from Rodgers to Love is in full swing, it has become clearer what the offense will look like.  Indeed, it will be different.

Cause by the likelihood that Love may not have as much freedom to adjust plays at the line of scrimmage.  By contrast, LaFleur gave Rodgers the green light to do so often.

Offensive Coordinator Owns Changes

Green Bay offensive coordinator Adam Stenavich said that the offense might be different.  Also, it is just because of not having Aaron Rodgers.  It might just be these other online sportsbook pieces that Green Bay added as well.  So, again the Packers are focused on OTAs right now.  Thus, the Pack will see how it all fits once they figure out how they will attack defenses.  And then they will roll from there.  But they do think it might change.

It is true that Love doesn’t have the betting on football playing experience that Rodgers had.  But from a playbook standpoint, all options are on the table.  Love has been around for three years and has attacked it.  Last year, Love came into his own and felt a lot more comfortable.  So this year, he’s hitting it on all cylinders.  As a result, the Packers are excited to see what he will bring.

Although it’s Love’s first year as a starter, it’s not the first NFL bets off-season in which he has worked as QB1.  Previously, Rodgers skipped the offseason program each of the past two years.  That situation gave Love the experience in that role.  Also, it allowed the coaches to see what suits him differently from Rodgers.

In turn, Love has regularly participated in the offseason program, which began on April 17.  That will ramp up when full practices begin during the organized team activity phase of the program.

Stenavich said that Green Bay is starting on Step 1 instead of starting at Step 8, where they could start with Aaron Rodgers.  So, they concede that they will take a step back.  Concurrently, the Packers are striving to keep working ahead.  Now is not the time to look at the end result.

In sum, Green Bay will look at one day at a time and go from there.  However, the Packers believe he is ready.  Further, Love’s teammates give off good vibes and energy around the locker room.

Still, this NFL Betting odds season looks like an all-out rebuild.  Regardless of what the Packers want to call it.  That doesn’t mean they won’t be better at some spots by the end of the season.

But they can’t be better right now at quarterback, going from Aaron Rodgers to Jordan Love.  Additionally, they can’t move up at receiver.  Especially after losing Allen Lazard and Randall Cobb.  Nor at tight end after losing Robert Tonyan and Marcedes Lewis.

In turn, on defense, the addition of first-round pick Lukas Van Ness makes the Packers better at that spot.  But only if Rashan Gary returns from his ACL, and that date is still TBD.
