Bucs Host Packers in Battle of Hall of Fame QBs Sunday on FOX

Green Bay Packers vs. Tampa Bay Buccaneers Betting Odds

Two of the greatest quarterbacks will meet on Sunday in Tampa Bay.  Aaron Rodgers and the Packers will face Tom Brady and the Buccaneers.  Green Bay hosted Tampa Bay on the frozen tundra of Lambeau Field in the 2020 NFC championship game.  Of course, Brady and the Bucs prevailed and went on to win the Super Bowl.  Accordingly, both clubs are favored to win the NFC in 2022.   Last week each club scored important betting on NFL wins.  Rodgers and Brady will be looking to top each other in an important NFC showdown with playoff implications.

Packers vs. Buccaneers CashBet Wagering Analysis

On this occasion, gamblers will split their Bitcoin Sportsbook tickets evenly.  Green Bay will draw sharp money as the power underdog. At the same time, squares will flood the window on Brady and the Bucs as the home chalk.

Packer Power By the Ground

Last Sunday night, the Packers scored a 27-10 betting on football win over the Bears as 10.5-point home chalk.  Chicago and Green Bay went under the total of 42.  Green Bay is 1-1 straight up, 1-1 against the spread, and 0-2 under the total.

Aaron Jones rushed for 132 yards and a touchdown.  Also, Jones caught a scoring pass from Aaron Rodgers, who continued his domination of the Bears.  In turn, it was an impressive bounceback win in front of a national Sunday night audience.

Following a more committed game plan, Jones came through.  In sum, he gained 8.8 yards per rush.  And he led the Packers’ 203-yard ground attack.  Jones had 15 carries as well as three catches for 38 yards.

Green Bay beat the Bears for a seventh straight time.  Thus, the Packers matched their second-longest win streak in the 205-game history of the NFL’s oldest rivalry.

The Packers built a 24-7 halftime lead by dominating the second period.  And then they made a goal-line stand in the fourth quarter to thwart a Bears comeback attempt.

Following a frustrating week one loss where he struggled to connect with his new crop of receivers, Rodgers returned to form.  Rodgers went 19 of 25 for 234 yards and two touchdowns.  The Packers are 24-5 against the Bears in games Rodgers has started.

The Packers outscored the Bears 21-0 in the second quarter.  Correlate that Jones scored twice.  On both TDs, he caught pitches from Rodgers in the backfield and reached the end zone.

Jones’ second score was Rodgers’ 450th career touchdown pass.  The only players to reach that mark are Tom Brady, Drew Brees, Peyton Manning, and Brett Favre.  Rodgers added No. 451 in the final minute of the first half with a 5-yard completion to Allen Lazard.

Overall, Rodgers completed passes to eight receivers.  None had more than three receptions, but Sammy Watkins totaled 93 yards.

Buccaneers Winning Ugly

Last week the Buccaneers got past the Saints 20-10 as 2.5-point road chalk.  Also, Tampa Bay and New Orleans went under the NFL bets total of 43.5.  Tampa Bay is 2-0 straight up, 2-0 against the spread, and 0-2 under the total.

Accordingly, Tom Brady threw a go-ahead touchdown pass to Breshad Perriman that lifted Tampa Bay to a 20-10 victory.  Brady, who’d lost four straight regular-season meetings with the Saints, again struggled for the first three quarters.

Indeed, Brady’s frustration was clear when he was caught on camera forcefully throwing a tablet to the turf.  Brady finished 18 of 34 for 190 yards and the lone TD.  It was a wild game with flaring tempers and confrontations that led to ejections.
