Previously, the UConn Huskies were a perennial Final Four contender. Connecticut made the Final Four five times from 1999 through 2014. Also, the Huskies won the national championship as recently as 2011 and 2014. After that last March Madness betting championship, the Huskies suffered through several years of being off the radar. But the hiring of Dan Hurley saved the program. To illuminate, Hurley has restored the Huskies to national power. Now UConn is in the Final Four to face the Miami-FL Hurricanes. The winner will play for the national championship on Monday, April 3.
