UFC on ESPN 38 Betting: Parisian vs. Baudot CashBet’s Top Odds and Betting Picks (Saturday, June 25th, 2022)

Josh Parisian vs. Alan Baudot

Heavyweight fighters take centerstage in one of the undercards of UFC on ESPN 38 as Josh Parisian takes on Alan Baudot in a three-round bout at the UFC Apex in Las Vegas, Nevada, on Saturday, June 25. The fight is scheduled before the main event clash between Arman Tsarukyan at Mateusz Gamrot. Parisian hopes to gain his first victory of the year while Baudot seeks to secure his first win inside the octagon. Parisian aims to bounce back from his disappointing setback against Don’Tale Mayes and prove that he is the real deal in the division.

A cast member in Dana White’s Contender Series 30 who demolished Chad Johnson in one round, the Michigan native is a knockout artist with 10 of his victories ending via stoppage. He has heavy hands but his TKO loss against Mayes showed that he can fall prey to a haymaker. Baudot, on the other hand, hopes to finally secure his first win after three disappointing setbacks (one was overturned to a no-contest after the winner tested positive for a prohibited substance) in the UFC. Parisian is favored to win the bout due to his superior striking power, according to MMA fight odds. However, Baudot is determined to finally secure a victory in the octagon to finally end his winless skid.

Josh Parisian

Before entering the UFC, Parisian (14-5) had an impressive 13-3 win-loss mark that includes two victories in the reality show Dana White’s Contender Series. However, his first three matches in the octagon were a far cry from his performances outside. He could have been 0-3 if not for the controversial split decision win over Roque Martinez in June 2021. In his last fight against Mayes, he was tied up in a crucifix position, allowing his opponent to unload crushing elbows to his face until the referee stopped the bout, 3:26 into the third round. Parisian needs to get his act together against Baudot to secure the victory. The Michigan native’s knockout power must be in full force against Baudot to clinch the win.

Alan Baudot

Baudot (8-3, 1 NC) had an 8-1 mark before seeing action in the UFC arena. He was 6-0 in his first six bouts en route to winning and defending the HEAT light heavyweight championship. In his first fight in the octagon, Baudot fell to a TKO loss against Tom Aspinall in one round. Nine months later, he met Rodrigo Nascimento and lost via TKO again. However, Nascimento’s win was overturned after he tested positive for ritalinic acid. The match was ruled a no-contest. The Frenchman came back on February 19 only to lose again via unanimous decision to Parker Porter. Baudot needs win against Parisian to prove that he belongs in the UFC and gain more lucrative fights in the future.
