Calvin Kattar
Currently number five in the UFC featherweight rankings, Kattar (23-6, 7-4 UFC) began his UFC stint with victories over Andre Fili and Shane Burgos. A unanimous decision loss against Renato Moicano did not intimidate the MMA fighter as he racked up wins against Chris Fishgold and Ricardo Lamas. His drive for three straight wins was stopped again as he fell to Zabit Magomedsharipov. Kattar bounced back with three wins in four matches against Jeremy Stephens, Dan Ige and Giga Chikadze. He’ll stumble anew to Josh Emmett but he will fight brilliantly to swerve a judge in his favor. Kattar will fight in his fifth-straight five-rounder as he hopes to gain a win and improve his chances of fighting for the 145-pound title.
Arnold Allen
Sixth-ranked featherweight contender Allen (18-1, 9-0 UFC) looks to extend his UFC winning streak to 10 (and 12 overall). However, he will have to pass by Kattar to climb the 145-pound rankings and improve his chances of fighting for the championship. In his last fight, Allen overwhelmed Dan Hooker to win via first-round technical knockout in front of home fans. Allen has picked up three Performance of the Night bonuses in the UFC and his ability moved him up the rankings. The series of victories ensured the UK fighter a chance to face a top-caliber contender in Kattar.

Kattar vs Allen Summary
Allen and Kattar battle in a UFC featherweight title eliminator that will possibly change the landscape in the weight class. Allen is the hotter fighter due to his nine-fight UFC winning streak but Kattar is the more experienced fighter that looks to bounce back from the heartbreaking loss against Josh Emmett. Kattar and Allen both have the abilities to knock out and/or submit opponents, but expect this fight to last the distance with both fighters delivering a top-notch bout for MMA fans to see. Online UFC fight oddsmakers favor Kattar to win in the match but do not sleep on Allen, as he has the ability to step up to the ranks and dismantle his foes in a flash.
