Featherweight fighters square off as Andre Fili takes on Bill Algeo in a three-round match that is part of the UFC Fight Night 210 card. The fight will be held on Saturday, September 17, at the UFC Apex in Las Vegas, Nevada. The match is included in the main card that is scheduled to start at 7:00 PM ET. Fili looks to end his two-year winless skid in hopes of cracking into the UFC featherweight rankings. Algeo, on the other hand, is on a two-fight winning streak that included a Performance of the Night win against Herbert Burns. Algeo is favored by UFC betting experts to win his third-straight assignment against Fili but the 32-year-old veteran is hungry for a win to revitalize his fading career.

Andre Fili
Looking to sprint back into the winning column after a two-year drought, Fili (21-9, 1 no contest) is in search of a win to resuscitate his fading career. The Sacramento-based fighter is 9-8, 1 NC in the UFC and fought the likes of former UFC champion Max Holloway and Calvin Kattar. His last victory was on June 13, 2020, when he defeated Charles Jourdain via split decision. Fili is expected to use his experience to topple Algeo and erase the stigma of two losses and a no contest in his last three fights.
Bill Algeo
Algeo (16-6) wants to continue his impressive 2022 with another win and move up the featherweight rankings. The fighter known as “Señor Perfecto” has strung up two straight wins this year and is aiming to make it three in a row against Fili. In his last fight, Algeo dominated Herbert Burns with a flurry of strikes, forcing the Brazilian to quit in the second round. The Boothwyn native steps in on short notice after Fili’s original opponent Lando Vannata pulled out due to injury. Algeo hopes that his decision will pay off and resume his winning run in the process.

Andre Fili vs. Bill Algeo Summary
Fili is a slight favorite by MMA oddsmakers to win the match against Algeo. However, Algeo is motivated to win again and continue his ascent to the featherweight rankings. Fili needs the win to end his two-year winless skid with the hopes of gaining big fights in the future.
