2022 Australian Open CashBet Odds Analysis
First, Serena Williams can no longer dominate like in years past. Thus, she is a +1800 best sportsbook online long shot for the Australian Open. Williams’ decline is perfectly understandable. At age 40, her body can’t withstand the strain and punishment of world-class tennis. Yet, the betting public didn’t catch on to this until recently. Her name remains the biggest brand in tennis, men’s or women’s. This means Williams will continue to draw betting action beyond what is warranted.
Certainly, that is not the case for Novak Djokovic. On the men’s side, he has emerged as the dominant player. Djokovic is drawing vast amounts of casual money for all of his major tournaments. He’s become a powerful brand with results to back it up.
Second choice on the men’s side goes to Daniil Medvedev. Cause by his upset win over Djokovic in the US Open last September.
