At the beginning of their NHL betting series with Colorado, the Predators were heavy underdogs. And with plenty of good reason. Colorado is the betting favorite to win the Stanley Cup. Nashville’s season metrics were mediocre. Colorado has shown to be far deeper on both ends of the ice. So far, the Avs have two blowout wins in their first three games against Nashville. Only a 2-1 overtime win in game two was competitive. Not even the biggest Predators fan believes that Nashville can win four straight games against Colorado. Now the question is if they can even win one.

Namely, Gabriel Landeskog scored two second-period goals for the Avs. Landeskog added two assists in the payout. The Colorado power play obliterated the Predators by scoring on four out of five attempts.
CashBet Wagering Analysis – Gamblers Expect an Avalanche
Following their dominant game three performance, the Avalanche will be expensive Betting on NHL favorites in game four. Nobody wants to step into Colorado. Not even Wise Guys are looking at the Nashville price of serious plus-money. Above all, perception is the reality in this matchup. Colorado is vastly superior to a Nashville team that cannot keep pace. Not even the injury and playing status to Kuemper will be enough to scare away the masses.
Some Wise Guys might take a flier on the Predators. Cause by the big home price and a possible pro hockey betting motivational angle. Nashville will not want to get swept on their home ice. Specifically, such a scenario is often a point of pride in the NHL. Counter to that theory is grave doubts about the Predators’ ability to do anything about it. Colorado is proving to be that dominant.
An Avalanche of Success from Multiple Sources
First in total points in the regular season is a hockey betting warning about Colorado’s ability. The Avalanche is a team that can turn on the power from various outlets.
Cale Makar is drawing comparisons to the best defensemen in NHL history. So far in the playoffs, Makar has two goals, five assists, and a plus-3. Makar is one of the NHL’s top-power play quarterbacks. He has three power-play assists in this series. In the regular season, Makar totaled 28 goals, 58 assists, and an astounding plus-48.
Center Nathan MacKinnon has hit his prime as a dominant forward. MacKinnon has four goals in the playoffs and scored 32 in the regular season. He has scored at least 32 goals in the last four full NHL seasons.

As was previously noted, Colorado goalie Darcy Kuemper left game-3 after getting a stick in his eye. Kuemper’s status is day-to-day. Backup goaltender Pavel Francouz is not an NHL gambling liability. Consider his .916 save percentage in the regular season.
Colorado has the luxury of resting Kuemper, even if he can play. At the same time, the Avalanche are on a mission and won’t want to extend the series.
Nashville’s best efforts are not likely to be enough to matter. And do the Preds really want to back to Colorado for a probable game five loss?
