The Giants and Cardinals have some similarities. In the first place both opened as Super Bowl betting longshots. Each team has a second-year starting quarterback. Kyler Murray of the Cardinals and Daniel Jones of the Giants continue their on-the-job training. Murray has had the more impressive numbers in a much tougher division. But Jones has also had his moments. Arizona has wilted under the heat of a surprise playoff drive. While the Giants have been fortunate to play in the NFL’s worst division. New York leads the NFC East, or make that “Least.” Also is Big Blue improving.

Arizona Cardinals at New York Giants CashBet Wagering Analysis
Fashion that neither team will have a strong sportsbook public move.
Cardinals Falling from Sky
The Cardinals are in free fall with five consecutive losses to the spread. Specifically, Arizona lost four of those games straight up. Arizona is coming off a 38-28 home loss to the Rams as 2.5-point home dogs. Over the total of 49 paid too. Now the Cardinals are 6-6 straight up, 5-7 against the spread, and 4-8 under the total. Overall Arizona ranks 8th in the NFL for scoring offense and 14th for points allowed. Gamblers have fled Arizona with the Super Bowl betting odds.
Last week LA outgained the Cardinals 463 to 232 in total yards and forced two turnovers. Kyler Murray threw three touchdown passes for Arizona. Yet he was only 21-39 for 173 yards with an interception.
A Giant Step Up to First Place
Following Sunday’s 17-12 win at the Seattle Seahawks, the Giants have momentum. New York was an 11-point road dog. Under the total of 48.5 was a winner too. It was the fifth payout in the last six games for Big Blue. Now the Giants are 5-7 straight up, 8-4 against the spread, and 3-9 under the total. Amazingly, in what was supposed to be a rebuilding season, the Giants lead the NFC East. In sum, the Giants rank 31st for total offense and 30th for scoring. Defensively Big Blue ranks 10th in the NFL and 8th for points allowed.
Accordingly, the Giants’ defense was the difference at Seattle. New York forced two turnovers. And limited the Seahawks to 4-15 combined on 3rd and 4th down conversions. Veteran backup Colt McCoy threw a touchdown pass. While Wayne Gallman ran for 135 yards on 16 carries. Daniel Jones is day to day with a hamstring issue.
Rookie coach Joe Judge has made an impact with the Giants. New York has a long way to go before becoming a bona fide betting on NFL favorite. But their competition level and overall competence have vastly improved.
