Colts at Vikings Begins NFL Network Saturday Tripleheader

Indianapolis Colts vs. Minnesota Vikings Betting CashBet Odds

At the onset of the season, the Colts had high hopes.  QB Matt Ryan arrived after re-writing the Falcons’ record book for passing.  Instead, Indianapolis has gone through a betting on NFL season from Hell.  The Colts flopped out of the gate and never recovered.  Head coach Frank Reich was fired last month.  And interim coach Jeff Saturday is seen as a joke.  On Saturday, the Colts have a tough assignment at Minnesota.  The Vikings are one of the NFL’s most improved teams.  Most important of all, they are playoff bound.

Colts vs. Vikings CashBet Wagering Analysis

On the whole, the Colts are a difficult Bitcoin sportsbook sell.  Nobody wants to step into the Vikings with such a struggling team.  On the other hand, the Vikings will draw too much square money as the home chalk.

Colts Winding Down Season From Hell

Last game, the Indianapolis Colts lost 54-19 against the Dallas Cowboys as 11-point road dogs.  The game went over the total of 44.5.  Indianapolis has a record of 4-8-1 straight up, 5-8 against the spread, and 4-9 over/under the Betting on football total.  Indianapolis ranks 25th for total offense, 19th for passing, 26th for rushing, and 31st for scoring.  Defensively they rank 8th overall, 3rd against the pass, 21st against the rush, and 19th for points allowed.  Also, Indianapolis ranks 32nd for turnovers lost and 30th for takeaways.

Dallas safety Malik Hooker began a rout with a fumble return for a touchdown early in the fourth quarter against his former team.  Indeed, the 38-yard TD return was part of a 33-point fourth quarter that turned a close game into the Cowboys’ easy payout.

It was just the third time in NFL history a team has scored at least that many in the fourth.  And it was a little bit personal for Hooker.  Also, Hooker had one of three interceptions of Matt Ryan.  Hooker was drafted 15th overall by the Colts in 2017.  But he didn’t get a second contract after four injury-plagued seasons.  He signed with Dallas during training camp last year.

Dallas led 21-19 entering the fourth when Dak Prescott threw the last of his three touchdown passes.  In turn, Hooker’s scoop-and-score was the first of four fourth-quarter takeaways by Dallas.  All of which led to touchdowns.

Ryan threw his second and third interceptions and lost a fumble during the nightmare finish for the Colts.  As a result, Indianapolis fell to 1-3 under interim coach Jeff Saturday and lost for the sixth time in seven games.  Ryan, who threw two touchdown passes, has 18 giveaways this season to lead the NFL by three over Buffalo quarterback Josh Allen.

Vikings on the Brink of NFC North Championship

Last game, the Minnesota Vikings lost 34-23 against the Detroit Lions as 2.5-point road dogs.  The game went over the total of 51.5.  Minnesota has a record of 10-3 straight up, 6-6-1 against the spread, and 8-5 over/under the NFL bets total.  Minnesota ranks 17th for total offense, 8th for passing, 27th for rushing, and 10th for scoring.  Defensively they rank 32nd overall, 32nd against the pass, 16th against the rush, and 24th for points allowed.  Also, Minnesota ranks 7th for turnovers lost and 8th for takeaways.

The Vikings needed a win or tie to clinch the division title.  Correlate that Kirk Cousins threw for 425 yards.  Including a franchise-record 223 to Justin Jefferson on 11 catches.  But Dalvin Cook ran for just 23 yards on 15 carries, and Minnesota couldn’t stop Goff.  Cousins was 30-of-40 passing with touchdowns to K.J. Osborn and Adam Thielen.  While Jefferson broke the team’s receiving yards mark set by Sammy White in 1976 against Detroit.
