The Baltimore Ravens will aim to solidify their hold of the top spot in the AFC North as they play host to the Cincinnati Bengals on Sunday, October 24, at the M&T Bank Stadium. Lamar Jackson and the Ravens look to secure their sixth victory in seven games as they take on Joe Burrow and the Bengals, who are a game behind their foes at a 4-2 win-loss record. NFL betting odds favor the Ravens to extend their winning streak to six due to their superior talent and familiarity with their home turf.
Burrow’s Excellent Playcalling; Chase’s Catching Excellence
The Bengals have emerged as one of the teams to watch in the NFL because of Joe Burrow and Ja’Marr Chase. Burrow’s arm has placed Cincinnati in good position to win every game. In six games, the 2020 first overall pick has thrown 1,540 yards and recorded 14 touchdowns. His overall rating is north of 100 and his completion percentage is an amazing 70.7%. On the other hand, fifth overall pick Chase has been impressive as a rookie, completing 27 receptions for 553 yards. He already has five touchdown catches in six starts so the future looks bright for the Bengals with these two on the offense.

Both teams came off lopsided victories to strengthen their positions in the stacked AFC North. Baltimore shut down Justin Herbert and the Los Angeles Chargers, 34-6, while Cincinnati overwhelmed winless Detroit, 34-11. Their defense decimated the Chargers and the Lions en route to lopsided victories.
Ravens: In Lamar We Trust
All-around quarterback Lamar Jackson has been doing it all for Baltimore. Over the past six games, Jackson completed 67.5% of his passes for 1,686 yards and threw the ball nine times for a touchdown. Aside from making his receivers happy, Jackson is also leading the team in rushing with 392 yards and 6.1 yards per carry. He rushed for two TDs, which is second-best in the team behind Latavius Murray (four). These feats are amazing considering the fact that the 24-year-old has tons of weapons that he can use to break his opponents’ backs. They still have Devonta Freeman, Le’Veon Bell and Ty’Son Williams in the running back position and the receiver corps were not too shabby either with Marquise Brown, Mark Andrews, Sammy Wtakins and Devin Duvernay catching their passes. Jackson is playing excellent football this year and the Ravens’ current standing in the AFC says it all.
Cincinnati Bengals vs Baltimore Ravens Pick
Online oddsmakers pick the Baltimore Ravens to extend their winning streak to six games and cover the spread. The Bengals can rely on Burrow and Chase all game long to make plays in offense but the Ravens are ready to stop the duo with their tenacious defense that shut down Justin Herbert and the Chargers in their previous outing. The Ravens, meanwhile, can always rely on Jackson to make the right plays as he has the skill to ram down the defense and has a ton of weapons at his arsenal waiting for his timely passes.
