Chiefs Host Bills in Epic Playoff Rematch of AFC Powers

Bills vs. Chiefs CashBet Wagering Analysis

Specifically, week six brings betting on NFL potential AFC championship preview.  The Chiefs and Bills played an epic classic in the 2021 AFC divisional playoffs.  To illuminate, Kansas City won what many called the greatest game ever played, 42-36 in overtime.  Buffalo took a 3-point lead with just 13 seconds remaining.  But Patrick Mahomes can work wonders with 13 seconds.  He set Harrison Butker up for a game-tying 49-yard field goal to send the game into overtime.  Subsequently, Mahomes then won the game with an 8-yard TD pass to his buddy Travis Kelce.

Bills vs. Chiefs CashBet Wagering Analysis

On the whole, this powerhouse online sportsbook matchup should draw equal betting action.  Kansas City is a probable home dog at Arrowhead.  Does anything else need to be said?  But the Bills are looking like the best team in football.  And that is hard for gamblers to resist.

Buffalo Pays the Bills

Last game, the Buffalo Bills won 38-3 against the Pittsburgh Steelers as 14-point home favorites.  The game went under the total of 44.5.  Buffalo has a record of 4-1 straight up, 3-1-1 against the spread, and 1-4 over/under the Betting on football total.  Buffalo ranks 1st for total offense, 1st for passing, 14trh for rushing, and 2nd for scoring.  Defensively they rank 2nd overall, 4th against the pass, 2nd against the rush, and 2nd for points allowed.  Also, Buffalo ranks 27th for turnovers lost and 6th for takeaways.

Facing third-and-10 on his 2, Josh Allen hit Gabe Davis caught in stride for a game-opening 98-yard touchdown.  Accordingly, the game ended at that point.  Following a tie for the franchise record for longest completion, Allen threw three more touchdown passes.  Including a 62-yarder to Davis and a 15-yarder to Stefon Diggs.

Despite wind gusts of up to 20 mph, Allen put up 348 yards passing in the first half.  That tied for the second most over the opening two quarters in an NFL game since 1991.  Overall, Allen finished 20 of 31 for 424 yards, the second most in team history.

Kansas City Remains Chiefs of AFC West

Last game, the Kansas City Chiefs won 30-29 against the Las Vegas Raiders as 7.5-point home favorites.  The game went over the total of 51.  Kansas City has a record of 4-1 straight up, 2-3 against the spread, and 3-2 over/under the NFL bets total.  KC ranks 6th for total offense, 4th for passing, 18th for rushing, and 1st for scoring.  Defensively they rank 14th overall, 24th against the pass, 3rd against the rush, and 24th for points allowed.  Also, Kansas City ranks 5th for turnovers lost and 30th for takeaways.

An absurd penalty on Chiefs defensive tackle Chris Jones for roughing Raiders quarterback Derek Carr changed the game’s personality.  And nobody in the Kansas City locker room could believe it.  But rather than quit, Patrick Mahomes and the rest of the Chiefs used it as motivation.

Still, the Raiders had a late chance.  Davante Adams, who earlier had hauled in a 58-yard touchdown catch, added a 48-yarder with 4:29 to go.  It came after Kelce’s final touchdown catch.  And when Kansas City failed on a 2-point try, that left the score 30-23.  However, rather than kicking a tying extra point, Raiders coach Josh McDaniels also went for 2.  But Josh Jacobs, who had shredded the Chiefs’ defense all night, was stuffed at the goal line.

The Raiders got the ball back one last time with 2:29 left.  And a long third-down pass to Adams down the Kansas City sideline appeared to get them in field-goal range.  But the play was reviewed, and Adams failed to get both feet in bounds.  Following that replay, Carr threw incomplete on fourth-and-1 with 47 seconds left.
