Bears Host Commanders Thursday Night on PRIME

Commanders vs. Bears CashBet Wagering Analysis

Following attractive games for the new AMAZON PRIME lineup, the NFL fails this Thursday night.  The Bears host the Commanders to start week six.  Indeed, there is no worse franchise in all sports than the Washington Commanders.  Owner Daniel Snyder has overseen the betting on NFL destruction of a once proud franchise.  His franchise culture became so toxic that he had to sell out to political correctness.  Although there was no mass demand for the team name change.  As for the Bears, they show occasional signs of life.

Commanders vs. Bears CashBet Wagering Analysis

Washington is one of the least appealing Sportsbook Odds brands on the board.  Specifically, as a road dog, they have no appeal at all.  However, Sharps may consider the Commanders based on inconsistent Chicago laying points.  Chicago is hardly trustworthy in the rare role of being a home favorite.  Of course, casual money will flow to the Bears.  And that makes the Commanders a potential hidden value.  Some gamblers see Washington as a bet on the side of the house and against the masses.  Yet others see the Commanders as utterly incapable of taking advantage.  Even against the Bears.

Washington Not Commanding

Last game, the Washington Commanders lost 21-17 against the Tennessee Titans as 1-point home dogs.  The game went under the Betting on football total of 43.5.  Washington has a record of 1-4 straight up, 1-4 against the spread, and 2-3 over/under the total.  Washington ranks 19th for total offense, 10th for passing, 28th for rushing, and 26th for scoring.  Defensively they rank 17th overall, 19th against the pass, 14th against the rush, and 26th for points allowed.  Also, Washington ranks 22nd for turnovers lost and 32nd for takeaways.

David Long intercepted Carson Wentz at the 1-yard line with 6 seconds left to preserve Tennessee’s third win in a row.  Derrick Henry was his old dominant self for the Titans.  And Long’s play concluded a goal-line stand that vaulted Tennessee into the payout.  The interception was Wentz’s sixth of the season.  And it sealed a fourth consecutive loss for the Commanders.  While overshadowing Wentz’s two touchdown passes to Dyami Brown.

When Henry scored in the third quarter, it was Tennessee’s first second-half touchdown since week one.  Also, it tied him with Earl Campbell for second on the franchise TDs list with 73.  Henry allowed the Titans to compensate for Ryan Tannehill getting sacked five times.  Most important of all, Tennessee improved to a league-best 10 of 11 in the red zone.

Chicago Tries to Bust Out of Bear Market

Last game, the Chicago Bears lost 29-22 against the Minnesota Vikings as 10-point road dogs.  The game went over the NFL bets total of 43.5.  Chicago has a record of 2-3 straight up, 2-2-1 against the spread, and 2-3 over/under the total.  Chicago ranks 31st for total offense, 32nd for passing, 5th for rushing, and 27th for scoring.  Defensively they rank 22nd overall, 9th against the pass, 31st against the rush, and 15th for points allowed.  Also, Chicago ranks 23rd for turnovers lost and 11th for takeaways.

Kirk Cousins went 32 for 41 for 296 yards to pace the Vikings.  Also, he scored on a 1-yard quarterback sneak with 2:26 remaining.  So the Vikings snapped out of another mid-game slump just in time to beat the Bears.  Cameron Dantzler sealed the victory for the Vikings.  Specifically, he ripped the ball away from former teammate Ihmir Smith-Marsette near the one-minute mark.

Chicago QB Justin Fields went 15 for 21 for a season-high 208 yards.  And then he threw his first touchdown pass in 15 quarters.  Also, Fields rushed eight times for 47 yards.  But the Bears were ultimately overtaken by the Vikings and their skill position stars.
