At the onset of the week, the 2023 NFL Draft attention is on the quarterback position. The four betting on NFL favorites to go first overall are quarterbacks. Bryce Young is the prohibitive favorite to go first with the Carolina Panthers. Second, is CJ Stroud, who is expected to go to the Houston Texans. And then Anthony Richardson is projected third, with Will Levis fourth. Young and Stroud rate as transformational quarterbacks in the role of Patrick Mahomes and Jalen Hurts. While Richardson and Levis rate more as projects with plenty of upsides.

2023 NFL Draft – Record Handle for Live Betting Expected
While there is not much top online sportsbook doubt about who will go first and second, there is plenty of debate for third and beyond. Bryce Young is the public betting favorite to go first, with CJ Stroud right behind.
It is the third pick where betting action will fluctuate. Following Young and Stroud are plenty of potential possibilities, including multiple trades. And that is where live betting comes into play. The longer down the board the first round goes, the more surprises are likely.
2023 NFL Draft – Players to Watch
Following the aforementioned quarterbacks, there is plenty of other talent to consider. There is no money to be made on the first two picks. Of course, Will Levis and Anthony Richardson are the ultimate bettings on football wild cards. Levis and Richardson could go as high as third or much lower. It will depend on the team’s needs and priorities.
Will Anderson Jr – The Best Player in the Entire Draft?
While Bryce Young and CJ Stroud rate as the first two players to go, that doesn’t mean they are the best players. In fact, Will Anderson rates on many NFL bets charts as the best player in the 2023 NFL Draft betting. The EDGE rusher from Alabama could go as high as third overall. Consider that Anderson is the only player in Alabama history to be a two-time unanimous All-American. In 41 career games, Anderson had 34.5 sacks and 62 tackles for loss.
Tyree Wilson – The Overlooked Sensation
Tyree Wilkson is second to Anderson on the NFL Betting odds rating charts. Yet Wilson is the anonymous prospect with the betting public. The defensive end from Texas Tech has the size and speed to dominate as an impact player. Of major concern is a fractured foot that he suffered last year.
Bijan Robinson – A Throwback Running Back
Indeed, it was the running back position that used to be prioritized in the NFL Draft. However, the term “tread wear” is in vogue these days. More than any other position, running backs wear down faster. Texas running back Bijan Robinson is the most coveted of any at that position. Robinson offers speed, vision, and the ability to break tackles. Most important of all, he is a reliable pass catcher. NFL scouts see Robinson as the complete package.
Devon Witherspoon – The Answer to the Passing Era
It is true that we live in the age of quarterbacks, passing, and scoring. Counter to that is the need for defending. And that is where Devon Witherspoon comes into play. Witherspoon rates as the best cornerback on the board. Last year at Illinois, Witherspoon broke up 14 passes. Additionally, he is a willing participant in stopping the run.
Christian Gonzalez – Smooth as Silk
Oregon cornerback Christian Gonzalez rates right behind Witherspoon at the cornerback position. And ranks as a top-5 prospect. Gonzalez combines size, speed, and explosiveness for a complete package. Defensive coaches love Gonzales for his ability to go step-for-step with the fastest receivers.
