Last year marked the cancelation of the Pro Bowl because of COVID-19. It was no loss for “real” football fans to a game that hardly resembles actual football. The Pro Bowl is a game where even the participants don’t want to participate. Now, the Pro Bowl takes place the weekend before the Super Bowl best matchup. Specifically, it is junk food for football fans and gamblers on an otherwise idle sports weekend. Further, the Pro Bowl is a made-for-TV production with unique rules designed to protect players. Still, people watch and bet on it!

Since the 1970 merger, the largest Pro Bowl crowd was in January of 1974 at Kansas City’s Arrowhead Stadium. 66,918 fans watched the AFC beat the NFC 15-13.
Pro Bowl CashBet Betting Odds Analysis
As was previously noted, the Pro Bowl barely resembles a typical sportsbook football matchup. But for all of its criticisms, the Pro Bowl produces TV ratings and a betting handle that are the envy of all other sports.
Many of the top players in the NFL skip the Pro Bowl. As a result, that makes handicapping pro football’s All-Star Game a more challenging task. Also factoring into a difficult equation is player motivation. In pro football’s golden age, a Pro Bowl was more competitive because the players needed every dollar that they could make.
But these days, mega-million-dollar contracts are too much for the Pro Bowl to compete against. At the onset, players have their money, and the Pro Bowl is nothing to their earnings. Most important of all, NFL teams don’t want their best Betting on Super Bowl players to get hurt.
Yet, the Pro Bowl produces TV ratings and a betting activity that any other major sport desires. That is the reason why it is still played. As long as the USA continues to bet on and watch, the Pro Bowl will continue on the annual schedule.
Las Vegas Makes Pro Bowl Debut
The 2022 Pro Bowl is the first to be played in Las Vegas, Nevada. And that location may prove to be the perfect venue for the game. Even players that don’t want to play in the game will take the all-expenses-paid trip to Vegas that the NFL provides. And fans that would never attend a Pro Bowl may go anyway because the game is in Las Vegas. Brand new Allegiant Stadium, home of the Las Vegas Raiders, is the stunning, state-of-the-art Super Bowl betting odds venue.
Top AFC Players
For the AFC, the terrific trio of quarterbacks Justin Herbert of the Los Angeles Chargers, Patrick Mahomes of the Kansas City Chiefs, and Lamar Jackson of the Baltimore Ravens are expected to participate. Also on the Super Bowl betting roster is Indianapolis Colts running back Jonathan Taylor. Nick Chubb of the Cleveland Browns is another top running back. Leading receivers include Tyreek Hill and Travis Kelce of the Kansas City Chiefs.
Top NFC Players
For the NFC, starting quarterback Aaron Rodgers is expected to opt-out. Therefore, Tom Brady of the Tampa Bay Buccaneers and Kyler Murray of the Arizona Cardinals should instead see NFL gambling action. Running backs expected to play in the game include Dalvin Cook of the Minnesota Vikings and Alvin Kamara of the New Orleans Saints. Davante Adams of the Packers is not likely to be on hand. Top NFC receivers include George Kittle of the San Francisco 49ers, Justin Jefferson of the Minnesota Vikings, and Deebo Samuel of the San Francisco 49ers.
