Following their second consecutive blowout loss to Michigan, Ohio State was pronounced dead. However, the College Football Playoff stars began to align quickly. And when USC suffered an NCAAF bets loss to Utah in the Pac-12 championship game, the Buckeyes began to breathe. Finally, when the CFP committee met, Ohio State could not be denied.
