Askar Askarov
Askar Askarov is currently ranked second in the UFC flyweight division and he hopes to score a title shot against Deiveson Figueiredo after this bout. “The Bullet” lived up to expectations as he never experienced a defeat in the UFC. The only fighter who came close in defeating him was former champion, Brandon Moreno, during his debut fight way back in September 2019. It is just fitting that Askarov will be competing for a title shot very soon after taking down the likes of Tim Elliot, Alexandre Pantoja, and Joseph Benavidez. This fighter from Russia has yet to finish a fight early and all of his wins came from decisions in the UFC.
Kai Kara-France
Kai Kara-France has been competing in the UFC since 2018 and he has only been beaten twice by Brandon Moreno and Brandon Royval. Other than that, this fighter scored six victories in the UFC including a TKO win against top contender Cody Garbrandt during his most recent fight in UFC 269. This fighter knows how to finish matches early in the UFC and his resume already shows that he is beyond going to the judges’ scorecards. His ground game still needs some work for him to be more considered as a title contender. The Kiwi has a total of 11 knockouts in his entire MMA career as of the moment.

Askarov vs. Kara-France Summary
This is going to be an intense battle as Kai Kara-France will look to prove he belongs with the best and earning a win over an undefeated fighter will do that well. Nonetheless, Askar Askarov is still the huge favorite in UFC fight odds to win and would not be surprised if this went to a full three rounds.
