In his last bout, Williams dominated Lukasz Brzeski from the get-go en route to a 30-26 30-26 30-27 decision victory. The American will use his wrestling background to outclass Sherman, as he has excelled in this department at a rate of 5.5 takedowns per 15 minutes. Williams’ takedown proficiency is outstanding at 68% and he has stopped all of the attempts against him.
Chase Sherman
Sherman will fight for the 28th time in his career as he hopes to gain his 17th win. The fighter known as “Vanilla Gorilla” is excellent in striking, as he was able to land 6.3 significant strikes per minute. However, he absorbs a lot of strikes at a rate of 6.85 strikes/minute. His takedown defense is good at 66% but he will try to go for his bread and butter against Williams and strike his way to victory. Williams vs. Sherman Summary
Online MMA fight predictions favor Williams to salvage the victory over the power-striking Sherman due to his wrestling skills. However, it could turn around in an instant with a well-placed strike by Sherman that could send Williams reeling on the cage. Overall, Williams has been using his ring generalship and tons of wrestling to win fights but he will have an acid test against the fighter known as “The Vanilla Gorilla,” whose striking ability is excellent in the heavyweight division. Williams will be a heavy favorite in this encounter but do not count out Sherman as he is adept in striking and is capable of changing the tempo of the match with his power.
