Punahele Soriano
Punalehe Soriano competed in Dana White’s Contender Series back in June 2019. He won over Jamie Pickett via unanimous decision to earn his UFC contract. ‘Story Time’ did not disappoint as he took it up to the next level beating his first two opponents in the UFC with first round knockouts. Unfortunately, Soriano tasted his first career loss against Brendan Allen in UFC on ESPN 27 via unanimous decision. It was the second time that Soriano went to the judges scorecards to determine the winner in his career and it was not good for him. Expect him to try to finish his bouts with his powerful strikes but he can also roll on the ground well.
Nick Maximov
Nick Maximov earned his UFC contract by beating Oscar Cota in Dana White’s Contender Series in November 2020. It took him time to debut in the UFC and he took on Cody Brundage in UFC 266 in September 2021. This 24-year-old fighter seems to he having a hard time finishing his bouts as he only reached the judges’ scorecards in his both fights given to him by Dana White. His debut fight was not that impressive as his hype from finishing his opponents has not translated in the UFC. Nonetheless, Maximov can take the battle from both the ground and the stand-up and will be hard to beat.
