Stephen Thompson
Stephen Thompson was almost the UFC Welterweight Champion as he pushed Tyron Woodley into a draw in November 2016 during UFC 205. The rematch in UFC 209 did not favor him as he lost via majority decision. Since then, Thompson has four matches and lost two of them. Those losses were against Daren Till and Anthony Pettis. “Wonderboy” won his lastest match against Vicente Luque but that match ended in a unanimous decision which was an underwhelming performance. His record is now at 15-4 and hopes to get a second wind in his career to get another title shot.
Geoff Neal
Geoff Neal has been fighting in the UFC since February 2018. Since then, he has not been defeated in five matches and the eight-fight winning streak he’s in spans before entering the organization. The fighters that he already fought are Brian Camozzi, Frank Camacho, Melal Muhammad, Niko Price and the latest was with Mike Perry. This 30-year-old fighter won three of those matches by knockouts. This American fighter from Harker Heights, Texas has been getting his training at Fortis MMA and Strkings. He will be entering the match against Stephen Thompson carrying a professional MMA record of 13-2.

Thompson vs. Neal Summary
Stephen Thompson looks lackluster in his most recent performance and having a year off hurts his chances to win this fight over the rising Geoff Neal. Putting your faith in Neal is what Sportsbook is suggesting but Thompson fans feel that he is set for a comeback. Betting on “Wonderboy” is a riskier bet but Neal is the safest.
