Katlyn Chookagian
Also known as the “Blonde Fighter,” Chookagian (18-4, 11-4 UFC) wants to redeem herself from her UFC Flyweight Championship loss against Valentina Shevchenko in February 2020. Following her loss to Shevchenko, Chookagian has racked up five wins in six matches, including four straight against Cynthia Calvillo, Viviane Araujo, Jennifer Maia and Amanda Ribas. The American fighter’s durability is well documented as she lasted the distance 17 times in 22 matches. However, Chookagian faces her toughest task in her MMA career as she faces the streaking Fiorot.
Manon Fiorot
Fiorot (9-1, 4-0 UFC) has been living up to her moniker “The Beast” as she has mowed down her opponents since losing her first-ever professional match in June 2018. The Frenchwoman has racked up nine straight wins, six by knockout, and has moved up as the seventh-ranked contender in the UFC 125-pound rankings. Fiorot is a menace in both ends of the octagon, as she has an average of 5.61 strikes landed per minute. Her significant strike accuracy is above 50%. However, her defense against strikes needs improvement as she has defended 49% of the strikes unleashed by her opponents. Fiorot has a solid takedown defense percentage of 63% that she will need when the fight goes on the ground.

Chookagian vs. Fiorot Summary
Chookagian is the No1 contender for the UFC flyweight title but she is not the favorite to win her next bout, based on sports odds and parlays that bring in a detailed and extensive coverage of the fight game. Fiorot has been a beast during her nine-fight winning run as she racked up six knockouts in these victories. The Frenchwoman has met quality opponents in her past two fights and aced all of them and so is Chookagian, who has strung up four consecutive decision victories against the division’s top contenders. A win by either fighter is very important as it would move them closer to facing Shevchenko for the UFC title.
