UFC Fight Night Holloway vs. Allen - CashBet Sportsbook odds betting

Gamblers are ready for a huge Fight Night main event this week.  Max Holloway and his upcoming bout against England’s Arnold Allen at UFC on ESPN 44 in Kansas City, Mo, are drawing massing UFC betting handle.  Last time Holloway was in the octagon, he lost a decisive unanimous decision to Alexander Volkanovski.  Specifically, that bout was for the featherweight belt at UFC 276.  When Holloway takes the octagon on Saturday, almost a year will have passed since his loss to Volkanovski.  Since then, gamblers have admitted increased doubts about Holloway.

Holloway Has a Chance to Change the Narrative

As was previously noted, Max Holloway is facing plenty of top online sportsbook Skepticism.  But Saturday will serve as an opportunity to show he’s still got it.

Holloway compares his UFC bets situation to other sports.  He said if he played basketball, he could go out there, go 0-for-12, and have a terrible game.  Yet, in the next game, Holloway could have the chance to get that 25-point game.  As a result, he could make everybody forget about the last game.  Holloway said the UFC is super tough.  Thus, combatants can’t fight every week.  In MMA, you don’t have that quick turnaround to make people forget about the last one.  But on Saturday, that chance is available.

Specifically, against Allen, Holloway faces an opponent who has won 12 straight fights overall.  Including all 10 of his UFC bouts.  A win for Allen would put him next in line to fight for the title.

Holloway said he is super excited and that Allen is only two years his junior.  It is true that a lot of people like to think Holloway is old.  Cause by watching Holloway for well over a decade.

Holloway says that Allen is a great talent, agile, and electric.  Thus, Allen has a lot of hype behind him.  And to Holloway, that makes the challenge more fun.

Of course, Holloway has lost three MMA betting title fights to Alexander Volkanovski.  But, between his second and third losses, he put together two of his best career performances in wins over Calvin Kattar and Yair Rodriguez.  Since then, Rodriguez leapfrogged Holloway in the featherweight rankings after winning the interim title over Josh Emmett in February.  Holloway is now No. 2 in the UFC featherweight rankings.

Still, Holloway is not ruling out a fourth fight with UFC featherweight champion Volkanovski.  Although Holloway has lost to Volkanovski three times, most recently at UFC 276 last July, the former champion still thinks the pair can meet a fourth time.

Their first two outings were close, and Holloway and many others thought he won the rematch.  But when they squared off the third time, Volkanovski shut him out, and Holloway offered zero excuses.

As he looks to earn another shot at Volkanovski, Holloway has to get past surging contender Arnold Allen.  Holloway remains optimistic about the future.  To show he believes he is not far from another shot at Volkanovski.  However, he realizes that his first task is to handle Allen.

Holloway said that first things first, he has to do his job.  He realizes he must keep winning and then take it from there.

In this situation, Holloway is prepared and motivated.  His goal of facing Volkanovski will carry him against Allen.  Allen has impressed gamblers with his climb to this matchup.  But Holloway has a level of experience that should be an advantage.
