CashBet Odds:  Netherlands -105 vs. United States +333, Draw +230, OU 2.25

There is a sense that the Americans have their best shot at best sportsbook online glory.  But the Netherlands brings a stark reality test to the pitch.  The Dutch are one of the game’s toughest and most disciplined teams.

Both the Netherlands and USA have advanced out of the group stage.  Gamblers are evaluating how the betting odds shake out.  Specifically, the Round of 16 matchups between the Netherlands and the USA is drawing heavy activity.  The Netherlands is a power brand in the eyes of soccer bettors.  On the other hand, the United States is an attractive property to World Cup odds bargain hunters.

Following the Netherlands clinching their group, they were set to play the second-place team in Group B. Subsequently, that turned out to be the United States.  Team USA tied against both Wales and England.  Finally, they earned a win vs. Iran.  And that victory punched their Round of 16 ticket.

Meanwhile, the Netherlands took care of betting the World Cup business with two 2-0 wins against Qatar and Senegal and drawing 1-1 vs. Ecuador.  Now we have an enticing draw with plenty of young talent on both sides.  Consider that much of the talent plays for European elite domestic clubs.

Both starting 11’s should resemble much of what we saw in the group stages.  The United States starting 11 is headlined by Christian Pulisic.  But the front line was shuffled with Haji Wright and Tim Weah.  Additionally, Tyler Adams and Weston McKennie are bright young talents in the midfield, and drawing starts in all three group-stage games.

The US backline hasn’t been tested much during the group stage run.  But Tim Ream has done an excellent job commanding the back.  The Netherlands has a sneaky good attack.  Especially with Memphis Depay getting healthier.  Cody Gakpo has three goals in three appearances.  While Davy Klassan has also joined in on the action.  Steven Bergwijn continues to start up top, looking to get involved.

On the whole, the USA will have a tough time breaking down a strong back three, with de Ligt, van Dijk, and Ake all being three top-tier centerbacks.  Also, Frankie de Jong is a top midfielder.

The Netherlands Vs. USA odds have the makings of a tight match.  In turn, this matchup will likely be on the lower-scoring side, given the two defenses in form.

France vs. Poland

When:  Sunday, December 4, 2022, 10 a.m. ET

TV:  FS1

CashBet Odds:  France -333 vs. Poland +1000, Draw +475, Total 2.5

Despite all the injuries heading into the tournament, France took care of business in a dominant fashion.  Poland left it very late after drawing with Mexico and losing to Argentina.  However, they advanced on the final Betting on the World Cup day through goal differential.

Following a very eventful group stage, Poland will head on out of group play after some drama on the final day.  Of great concern is that teams with strong midfield play have largely overrun Poland.  By contrast, France had been dealt some injury blows heading into the tournament.  Gamblers ask if Poland can take advantage.

Wise Guys won’t put much stock into the Tunisia loss.  Cause by France resting their key players.  France took care of business against Australia, and Mbappe had his moment against Denmark.  Additionally, Rabiot and Griezmann have commanded the midfield.  At the same time, Oliver Giroud has stepped up in the absence of Benzema.
