At the onset of their series with the Stars was Colorado a solid favorite. Dallas has often frustrated gamblers with their inconsistent offense. Hockey experts always believed the Stars had more goal-scoring than they showed. But in their previous series against Calgary that began to change. Offensively Dallas finally had a hockey betting asset. However, the Avalanche terrified the NHL by steamrolling of Arizona. Colorado beat the Coyotes by identical 7-1 scores to clinch the series. That made the Avs co-favorites for the Stanley Cup. Notwithstanding that a game one loss to Dallas shook up gamblers.

Of great concern for the Avalanche is that they outshout Dallas 40-27 in game two. Dallas had a strong NHL betting advantage of 60-29 in hits. Goaltender Pavel Francouz was off his game. To show he allowed four goals on 26 shots. Colorado is stuck with Francouz. Cause by a lower-body issue with top goalie Philipp Grubauer. The status of Grubauer’s injury is indefinite.
