New Orleans has dropped two of their last three games to the line.  And then all three games went over the pro basketball betting total.  New Orleans is 22-27 straight up, 23-26 against the spread, and 33-16 over the total.  Accordingly, the Pelicans are three games out of the final playoff spot in the Western Conference.  NBA metrics show New Orleans 6^th for scoring offense, 27^th for points allowed.  Defensive woes date back to last season for the Pels.  Fashion that, more than anything else, is what is blocking a postseason bid.
