The Orlando Magic are looking to end their four-game losing slide. They will face the rejuvenated but undermanned Brooklyn Nets in an Eastern Conference showdown. It could become an early preview of the playoffs. Now, they possess a 6-2 win-loss record. The Magic lost to Houston, Dallas, Milwaukee, and Boston by an average of 26.3 points. The tailspin began after they lost point guard Markelle Fultz to a torn ACL.
Losing a scorer/playmaker like Fultz gives an additional burden to main men Aaron Gordon and Nikola Vucevic. On the other hand, the Nets won their past two games to move up to third place in the team standings. Brooklyn is doing this without Kyrie Irving (injury) and a bunch of reliable players who were traded just to get scoring monster, James Harden. NBA TV will be airing the Saturday game live at 6:00 PM Eastern Time at the Barclays Center and NBA League Pass will do the same via live stream. Online sports betting heavily favors the Nets in this exciting clash.

Orlando Magic vs. Brooklyn Nets CashBet Wagering Analysis
The Orlando Magic have encountered a speed bump after going 6-2 in their first eight games. The injuries to Fultz, Evan Fournier, and Jonathan Isaac have decimated the Magic and while they still have Gordon and Vucevic as their main offensive weapons, their production would not be enough against the Nets who are winning all of a sudden despite the repeated absence of Kyrie Irving and the loss of consistent contributors Jarrett Allen and Caris LeVert who were part of the package of the trade that gave Harden to the Nets.
Losing Their Spunk
Over the past four games, the Magic have gone from Eastern Conference contenders to clinging onto first place in the Southeast Division. Currently 6-6 (win-loss), Orlando is just half a game ahead of Charlotte and the absence of at least three main weapons put Steve Clifford and his crew at a disadvantage in the coming games. They have succumbed to their last four assignments by a combined margin of 105 points and obviously, the team needs a ton of help from the offensive side. The Magic have Gordon and Vucevic as their primary contributors but they need scoring assistance from the likes of Terrence Ross, Cole Anthony, and Khem Birch.
Nets Doing Great Despite Irving’s Absence
The Brooklyn Nets have been performing well despite the absence of Irving, who has missed the past five games due to league protocols. Kevin Durant has been the catalyst of the Nets’ surge, averaging 30 points per game. He has received enough contributions from his supporting cast led by Bruce Brown, who averaged 15.5 markers, Joe Harris, who has scored 15 points over the past two victories. Those wins have put Brooklyn in third place in the Atlantic Division standings behind Philadelphia and Boston. In their previous game against New York, seven Nets players scored in double digits. The possible arrival of Harden in Brooklyn will bring additional firepower to the squad but will test their resilience with three Alpha males teaming up in one team once healthy.
Orlando Magic vs. Brooklyn Nets Head-to-Head with Spread
A battle of two undermanned teams will take center stage in a regular-season showdown that could well be a playoff clash in the coming months. Nikola Vucevic and Aaron Gordon hope to carry Orlando to the upper bracket of the Eastern Conference despite losing some of their key contributors to injuries. They also want to avoid a fifth straight setback which could drop them further in the division standings. On the other hand, Brooklyn aims to secure their third consecutive win despite missing the services of Kyrie Irving. Another victory could help their status in the Atlantic Division especially that James Harden is yet to play a game for the team.

The Nets will play with confidence despite going to the game with an undermanned squad. Durant will remain as Brooklyn’s top gun with Irving and Harden, who is questionable for the game against Orlando, still unavailable to take the court. The Magic, who are determined to halt their losing skid, will give Brooklyn a tough matchup especially in the center spot wherein Vucevic can use his range to outsmart Jordan. However, the Nets, with Durant leading the charge, are set to score a victory against the Magic, according to online sportsbook odds, 125-111.
