NBA Betting: Miami Heat vs. Boston Celtics Odds

Boston hasn’t really recovered from their 2020 NBA Playoffs loss to the Heat.  Since Miami took them out, the Celtics haven’t been a reliable NBA betting value.  In the same way, the Heat haven’t recaptured their profitability since losing the 2020 NBA Finals.  Miami got a reality check against the Lakers.  And has disappointed gamblers with a lackluster 2020-21 campaign.  Both the Heat and Celtics are heading to the 2021 NBA Playoffs.  However, neither team is seen as a bona fide championship contender.  Heading down the stretch, there is nothing that indicates any change of course for either team.

Miami Heat at Boston Celtics CashBet Wagering Analysis

Neither team has given gamblers a reason to jump on board.  But they are teams that sharps have started to oppose regularly.  Squares will prefer Boston as the Online sportsbook home team.  Sharps will gravitate to a decent Miami team getting the road price break.

Is the Heat Finally Coming On?

Miami lost only two of their most recent nine games to the spread.  Six of their last seven cleared the Betting on NBA total.  As a result, the Heat are 35-30 straight up, 29-34-2 against the spread, and 33-32 over the total.   Miami leads Boston by one game for the 6th Eastern Conference playoff spot.  Overall, NBA metrics show the Heat 27th for scoring offense and 3rd for points allowed.

Forward Jimmy Butler triggers the Miami lineup.  To show, Butler averages 21.5 points, 7.0 rebounds, and 7.2 assists per contest.  Butler scored 20 or more points in three of his most recent five games. Meanwhile, center Bam Adebayo brings 19.1 points, 9.1 rebounds, and 5.3 assists per contest.  Adebayo scored 20 or more points in six of his last eight outings.

Not Much Celtic Green from Boston Lately

Late on, the Celtics covered only one of their most recent six games.  Five of their last six matchups went over the pro basketball betting total.  Now Boston is 34-31 straight up, 30-34-1 against the spread, and 34-31 over the total.  NBA metrics show the Celtics 15th for scoring offense and 10th for points allowed.

Of major concern are injuries to Boston’s top three players.  Jayson Tatum, Jaylen Brown, and Kemba Walker are all questionable.  Tatum has undisclosed issues.  Brown has a bad leg.  And then Walker has an oblique problem.

Shooting forward Tatum leads the Celtics with 26.5 points, 7.4 rebounds, and 4.4 assists per game.  Next, shooting guard Brown brings 24.7 points and 6.0 rebounds per contest.  And then point guard Kemba Walker is at 18.2 points per outing.

Boston coach Brad Stevens is one of the most respected in the Association.  The Celtics’ lack of consistency and profits is a surprise to many.  Since the playoff loss to Miami, Stevens hasn’t returned to the ship on course.

Miami Heat at Boston Celtics Against the Spread

To being with, the Heat have covered five of their most recent nine-away games.  Five of Miami’s last six road tilts cleared the basketball betting total.  Boston is 2-4 against the spread most recently at TD Garden.  Over the total paid in six of the last eight Celtics home games.

Boston got the money in three of their most recent five games with the Heat.  While four of those five games cleared the total.  So too have the Celtics covered five of their most recent six at home to Miami.  Under the total paid in three of the last four in this series at TD Garden.

Miami Heat at Boston Celtics CashBet Free Pick

As mentioned earlier, Boston bosses the cashier’s cage against Miami.  Especially when the Celtics are the NBA gambling host.  Boston should get a price break with the injury issues and recent form of both teams.
