Milwaukee Bucks NBA Team Betting Preview

Milwaukee Bucks NBA Team Betting Preview

Founded in 1968 as an expansion team the Milwaukee Bucks won the NBA world championship in their third season.  However, that 1970-71 title is their only one in team history.  Milwaukee has been transformed into power with the NBA betting odds.  The reason for this transformation is the 2019 NBA Most Valuable Player Award winner Giannis Antetokounmpo.  Last year Milwaukee was the best team in the regular season.  They were the top seed in the Eastern Conference.  Yet the Bucks failed to finish off the Toronto Raptors in the Eastern Conference finals.

Once again Milwaukee boasts the best record in the NBA.  Accordingly, their metrics show a team that is among the most complete in the Association.  Public betting money will continue to flow to the Bucks.  Amazingly Milwaukee has been among the most profitable NBA teams.  Despite being one of the most “public” teams on the pro basketball wagering board.

 2019-20 Season Review

A clear difference can be seen between the Bucks and the rest of the Eastern Conference. Nobody has been able to match Milwaukee’s sportsbook dominance in the East.  Of great concern is team depth.  Giannis and Chris Khris Middleton often have to carry the team without a lot of secondary help.  In fact, the Bucks may have had better depth last season when they failed to get to the NBA Finals.

Head Coach Mike Budenholzer

Since taking over as Bucks coach last season Mike Budenholzer has proven to be a maestro.  Milwaukee has been one of the top offensive teams with the NBA Lines without sacrificing defense. Consider as an illustration that Budenholzer is a two-time NBA coach of the year.  He is also one of the few coaches in Atlanta Hawks history to depart with a winning record.  “Coach Bud” Led the Hawks to the 2015 Eastern Conference finals.

Key Milwaukee Bucks Players

Namely, Giannis Antetokounmpo is the man of the marquee in Milwaukee.  Giannis was the 15th player taken in the first round of the 2013 NBA Draft.  For the past four consecutive seasons, he has been an NBA All-Star.  Fashion that Giannis emerged as a dominant player in 2016-17.  This season he has averaged 29.6 points, 13.7 rebounds, and 5.8 assists per game.  The only flaw in the Greek Freak’s game is free-throw shooting.  He is hitting at just 63% on the season.  Most important of all he is the premier power forward in the game.

Small forward Khris Middleton is the second scorer with 21.1 points and 6.2 rebounds per game.  Correlate that Middleton has made the All-Star game the past two years.  Middleton has averaged 18 points per game or better in the last three seasons.

Milwaukee Bucks Restart Betting Outlook

As a result of the COVID-19 break did Milwaukee have its momentum stopped cold.  Because of this, there is legitimate concern about the Bucks ability to resume their level of play.  Still, they remain the class of the Eastern Conference.
