Mavericks Facing Early Elimination Against Warriors

2022 Playoffs Western Conference Finals   Golden State Warriors vs. Dallas Mavericks

Dallas has been the big surprise of the NBA betting postseason.  However, the Mavericks are staring extinction right in the face against Golden State.  The Warriors jumped out to a 3-0 series lead against Dallas.  On the whole, Golden State has proven to be too much and too deep for the Mavericks.  Dallas remains too dependent upon Luka Doncic for their success.  Golden State has more weapons to assist their superstar, Stephen Curry.  On Tuesday night, Dallas will try and stave off elimination.  Golden State has the opportunity to sweep the Mavericks and then rest for the NBA Finals.

Warriors Win at Dallas to Take 3-0 Series Lead

On Sunday, the Warriors scored a 109-100 win at Dallas as 3-point online sportsbook dogs, with the game going under the total of 216.5.  As a result, the Warriors have a 3-0 lead in the best of seven series.  Should Golden State win on Tuesday night, the Mavericks will be eliminated.  No team in the history of the NBA Playoffs has rallied from a 3-0 deficit.

Naturally, Stephen Curry led the Warriors with 31 points to lead the Warriors.  Andrew Wiggins added 27 points and a powerful dunk against Luka Doncic that changed the game’s completion.  Specifically, Wiggins’ performance was a career-best in the playoffs for points scored.

Golden State head coach Steve Kerr admitted to loving the Warriors’ position.  Correlate that he told his team to take advantage of their 2-0 Betting on NBA lead heading into game three.  Kerr and the Warriors now have the Mavericks in a stranglehold.

Specifically, the play of the game was when Wiggins powered to a one-hand dunk over Doncic in the fourth quarter.  It reminded a lot of observers of the great former Atlanta Hawk, Dominique Wilkins.  Wiggins was originally called for a foul on the play.  But replay review revealed that the contact was incidental, and the dunk counted.  Dallas was never the same after that play.

Dallas on the Brink

On the whole, it has been a tremendous pro basketball betting season for the Mavericks.  First-year head coach Jason Kidd has proven to be the new voice and mind desperately needed in Dallas.  In fact, the Mavericks have not gone this far in the NBA Playoffs in 11 years.  But the Warriors have exposed the Mavericks for their lack of depth and secondary scoring support.  Barring a massive injury wave, Golden State owns this series.
