Boston Celtics vs. Charlotte Hornets CashBet Wagering Analysis
The Charlotte Hornets are surely stepping up and becoming a legit playoff contender with the way they are playing. They own the home-court advantage and the Boston Celtics are struggling to keep things together.
Celtics Win-Less and Looking Terribly Bad
The Boston Celtics opened up their season against the New York Knicks and it resulted in an overtime loss. Their opening day performance holds a lot of promise but instead of doing better, they regressed in their first home game with the Toronto Raptors, 83-115. Jayson Tatum did his job leading the team with 18 points on 8-of-14 shooting. He also had six rebounds, four assists but committed five turnovers. The big hole in the Celtics system came from Jaylen Brown as he shot only 3-of-13 from the field to finish with just 9 points. Josh Richardson came off the bench with 12 points but it didn’t help their game against the Raptors.
Hornets Staying Unblemished for Their First Two Games
The Charlotte Hornets managed to win over the Indiana Pacers by just one point but their next game against the Cleveland Cavaliers was more convincing. This team went on the road and took home an 11-point victory, 123-112. In that game, Miles Bridges was the one who stepped up and tallied 30 points along with seven rebounds, three steals and four three-pointers. Kelly Oubre Jr. also erupted with 25 points off the bench to help seal the win. Surging LaMelo Ball contributed across the board with 17 points, six assists, five streaks, three rebounds and shot 66% from the field. Veteran forward Gordon Hayward kept things steady for the Hornets as he did a near double-double of 18 points and nine boards.
Boston Celtics vs. Charlotte Hornets Head-to-Head with Spread
The Boston Celtics may have more firepower but the ingredients have not been mixing well lately. On the other hand, LaMelo Ball and Gordon Hayward have been the stabilizers for the Charlotte Hornets and will keep the game close against this playoff squad.
