Spartans Try To Get Back on Track Against Maryland

At the beginning of the season, Maryland ripped off four consecutive wins.  Gamblers took notice.  All of a sudden, coach Mike Locksley was being mentioned as a potential coach of the year.  But veteran gamblers have seen this College football betting movie before.  And when Iowa came to visit Maryland on a Friday night, it was no surprise that the Hawkeyes scored a 51-14 payout.  Subsequently, Maryland lost four of its next five games.  Thus, gamblers show no demand for the Terrapins.  Meanwhile, Michigan State ran out of gas at Purdue last week, suffering their first loss.

Michigan State stumbled despite another strong showing by Kenneth Walker III.  To show, Walker had 23 carries for 146 yards and one score. And the Spartans had plenty of problems defending O’Connell, trickery aside.
