Liberty vs. Arkansas CashBet Wagering Analysis, NCAA Football Best Bets

Hugh Freeze is making a strong case for a return to NCAAF bets prominence.  Freeze is coaching Liberty to one of the best seasons in program history.  Most important of all, it is not a fluke.  Freeze has made Liberty one of the hidden gems on the college football board.  Freeze once led Mississippi to a couple of big seasons a decade ago.  But as Freeze tweeted scripture, he called hookers on his burner phone.  Hence, his industry nickname of “Jimmy Swag” in reference to the fallen preacher.  But desperate programs don’t care.

Liberty vs. Arkansas CashBet Wagering Analysis

Specifically, Wise Guys are going to like Liberty in this spot.  The Flames are consistently undervalued and ignored by the casual top online sportsbook sector.  Liberty is a good team that often gets a better price than it deserves.  Thus, the sharp’s loving the Flames as they do.  Fanboys will flock to the SEC home favorite, Arkansas, against a program they have no familiarity with.

Liberty Seeks to Freeze Hugh Into Long-Term Commitment

Last game, the Liberty Flames won 41-14 against the BYU Cougars as 7-point home dogs.  The game went under the Betting on College Football total of 58.  Liberty has a record of 7-1 straight up, 4-4 against the spread, and 4-4 over/under the total.  Liberty ranks 53rd for total offense, 83rd for passing, 30th for rushing, and 59th for scoring.  Defensively they rank 24th overall, 40th against the pass, 36th against the rush, and 34th for points allowed.  Also, Liberty ranks 91st for fewest turnovers lost and 7th for takeaways.

Dae Dae Hunter ran for 213 yards and a touchdown on 23 carries.  And Shedro Louis added two rushing TDs.  Subsequently, Liberty scored the final 38 points.  Johnathan Bennett completed 22 of 29 passes for 247 yards and touchdowns for Liberty.  The Flames have won five in a row since a 37-36 loss to No. 13 Wake Forest on September 17.

Namely, Jaren Hall threw touchdown passes of 46 yards to Puka Nacua and 20 yards to Isaac Rex.  Those TDs were less than 2 minutes apart to give BYU a 14-3 lead late in the first quarter.  Overall, Hall finished 16-of-34 passing for 187 yards.  The Cougars finished with 71 yards rushing on 16 carries.

Arkansas Gets Back on Track

Last game, the Arkansas Razorbacks won 41-27 against the Auburn Tigers as 4-point road favorites.  The game went over the bet on NCAAF total of 60.  Arkansas has a record of 5-3 straight up, 4-4 against the spread, and 6-1-1 over/under the total.  Arkansas ranks 13th for total offense, 59th for passing, 4th for rushing, and 36th for scoring.  Defensively they rank 120th overall, 129th against the pass, 76th against the rush, and 111th for points allowed.  Also, Arkansas ranks 110th for fewest turnovers lost and 114th for takeaways.

KJ Jefferson ran for two touchdowns and passed for a third.  Raheim Sanders rushed for 171 yards to lead Arkansas to a 41-27 victory over Auburn on Saturday.  As a result, the Razorbacks snapped a six-game losing streak versus the Tigers.  Jefferson completed 16 of 24 passes for 234 yards.  Additionally, he stiff-armed safety Zion Puckett to the ground on his way to a 13-yard touchdown run.

The two teams came into the day tied with Texas A&M for last in the SEC West.  But Auburn couldn’t stop Jefferson and Sanders.  Or produce scores on offense when the game was still in doubt.  Much of Jordan-Hare Stadium had emptied before the Tigers’ final two touchdowns.

Late on, Sanders set up the decisive touchdown with a 76-yard scamper down the left sideline late in the third quarter.  Rashod Dubinion then scored the first of his two late touchdowns.
