Indiana vs. Ohio State CashBet Wagering Analysis, Odds and Predictions

Indiana vs. Ohio State CashBet Best Bet

The 2020 Indiana Hoosiers shocked everyone by almost winning the Big Ten Conference.  At a traditional basketball school, head coach Tom Allen was celebrated for cracking the College Football bets code.  Since that peak, the Hoosiers have returned to what they have always been.  Specifically, Indiana is a Big Ten doormat.  And this week could get excessively ugly.  The powerhouse Ohio State Buckeyes will host the Hoosiers.  Naturally, Indiana is given almost zero chance of being competitive.  Hence, Tom Allen has gone from a hero to zero.  And some IU fans want to see him on the unemployment line.

Indiana vs. Ohio State CashBet Wagering Analysis

Indiana is an impossible best sportsbook online sell for oddsmakers in this matchup.  Concurrently, the Hoosiers will get an enhanced price on the board.  Ohio State will be priced over what it should be to scare off the masses.

Indiana Shows that 2020 was an Outlier

Last game, the Indiana Hoosiers lost 45-14 against the Penn State Nittany Lions as 14-point home dogs.  The game went over the Betting on College Football total of 50.  Indiana has a record of 3-6 straight up, 3-6 against the spread, and 5-4 over/under the total.  Indiana ranks 110th for total offense, 53rd for passing, 127th for rushing, and 100th for scoring.  Defensively they rank 104th overall, 107th against the pass, 88th against the rush, and 114th for points allowed.  Also, IU ranks 50th for fewest turnovers lost and 83rd for takeaways.

Kaytron Allen and Nicholas Singleton gave Penn State a knockout ground game Saturday.  The combination was too much for Indiana.  In sum, Allen ran for 86 yards and a season-high three scores.  Singleton added 73 yards rushing and another touchdown, and the two freshmen helped the Nittany Lions rout the Hoosiers.  In turn, a suffocating defense delivered more big blows.  Penn State logged six sacks, all in the first half, limiting the Hoosiers to 65 yards on the ground.

The Nittany Lions had 16 tackles for loss, a school single-game record.  And then Sean Clifford was 15 of 23 with 229 yards and one interception.

Buckeyes Escape Lake Storm

Last game, the Ohio State Buckeyes won 21-7 against the Northwestern Wildcats as 37.5-point road favorites.  The game went under the bet on NCAAF  total of 55.  Ohio State has a record of 9-0 straight up, 4-4-1 against the spread, and 6-3 over/under the total.  Ohio State ranks 14th for total offense, 19th for passing, 34th for rushing, and 1st for scoring.  Defensively they rank 7th overall, 8th against the pass, 14th against the rush, and 8th for points allowed.  Also, Ohio State ranks 27th for fewest turnovers lost and 47th for takeaways.

Miyan Williams ran for 111 yards and two touchdowns.  In turn, Ohio State overcame the ugly weather and a stiff challenge from Northwestern.  But what was figured to be an easy win turned into a struggle.  Cause by heavy rain that fell at times and gusting winds that blew passes off course all afternoon helped make it that way.

Williams gave Ohio State the lead with a 27-yard touchdown in the third quarter and celebrated by making snow angels in the grass.  Additionally, he made it 21-7 when he scored from the 2 with about 4 1/2 minutes remaining in the game.  Also, |CJ Stroud broke a 44-yard run.

Stroud, the Big Ten leader in yards passing, set a career low with 76.  Accordingly, he completed just 10 of 26 passes in his only game this year without a touchdown throw.  To summarize, the Buckeyes set a season low with 283 yards and matched one in scoring.  But they made enough plays to pick up their 10th consecutive win against Northwestern and 34th in the past 35 meetings.
