Georgia Bulldogs vs. Clemson Tigers CashBet Wagering Analysis

On this occasion, these two respected powerhouse programs will draw equal sportsbook handle.

Georgia Looks Smarter for 2021 Title Run

Kirby Smart enters his sixth season at Georgia.  To be exact, UGA boasts a prolific offense that returns seven of 11 starters. In comparison, the defense is talented but is retooling at cornerback. The special teams are the most complete that Smart has had since becoming a head coach.   Todd Monken begins his second Betting on college football season as the offensive coordinator.

In turn, fourth-year junior JT Daniels is the starting quarterback after impressing everyone at the end of 2020.   Daniels sparked the Bulldogs’ offense going last season in the final four games.  He converted big plays that were lacking before he took over. Consider that Georgia had just four 300-yard passing performances under Smart before Daniels did it twice in his four starts.

Georgia’s running back corps is loaded with experience and talent.  Namely, Zamir White is the marquee man of the group after scoring 11 touchdowns in the 2020 campaign.  White surpassed the 100-yard benchmark three times in UGA’s final six games.  Also, James Cook, Kenny McIntosh, and Kendall Milton complete one of America’s best running back lineups.

Although wide receiver George Pickens suffered a torn ACL in spring drills and will miss most of the 2021 season, the Bulldogs have other proven playmakers. Kearis Jackson was UGA’s most dynamic receiver early in the 2020 season.  And then Jermaine Burton could be the most gifted pass-catcher on the roster.

A New Era Begins for Clemson

Head coach Dabo Swinney and the Clemson Tigers will have a new-look team in 2021.  Superstars Trevor Lawrence (quarterback) and Travis Etienne (running back) are off to the NFL. But the expectations remain the same.  At Clemson under Swinney, it is all about competing for national championships.

There is plenty of talent remaining at Clemson on both sides of the ball. The Tigers have won six consecutive ACC titles.  Clemson reached the College Football Playoff in six successive years and has won two of the past five national titles.  Just as important, Swinney has produced top-ranked recruiting classes for several cycles.  Thus, the bet on NCAAF expectation is that Clemson will contend again in 2021.
