To sum up, Georgia is considered more of national power with the sportsbook odds. Tennessee is more of a recent surprise.

Last week the Volunteers scored a 35-12 home payout over Missouri as 10-point favorites.  Under the total of 49 snuck through as well.  Tennessee outgained Mizzou 422-344.  And UT held a 26-15 first down advantage.  In particular, the Volunteers were highly impressive on the ground.  Tennessee ran for 232 yards against the Tigers.  So too did UT average 4.5 yards per carry.  Tennessee is showing Betting on college football value not seen in years.

Now Tennessee is now 2-0 straight up, 1-0-1 against the spread, and 1-1 on totals.  Tennessee’s offense ranks 44th overall, 43rd for passing, 24th for rushing, 29th for scoring, and first for turnovers.  Defensively the Vols rank 21st overall, 39th against the pass, 23rd against the rush, 17th for points allowed 33rd for takeaways.

Georgia Finds its Quarterback

Last week the Bulldogs beat Auburn 27-6 as 7.5-point chalks.  And then the game went under the total of 44.5.  Georgia dominated in all aspects of the game.  Starting with a 25-15 advantage in first downs.  And a total yard advantage of 442-216.  Georgia had the ball for 34:04 time of possession.

First-time starter Stetson Bennett was 17 of 28 for 240 yards with a touchdown.  His rating was 144.5.  Sophomore wide receiver Kearis Jackson had the big day with nine catches good for 147 yards.

As a result, Georgia Bulldogs is 2-0 straight up, 1-1 against the spread, and 0-2 under the total.  Georgia’s offense ranks 36th overall, 34th for passing, 38th for rushing, 32nd for scoring, and 21st for turnovers.  Defensively the Bulldogs rank 4th overall, 16th against the pass, 3rd against the rush, 4th for points allowed, and 9th for takeaways.

So far Bennett has a 65% completion rate and rating of 148.7.  He has three touchdown passes with no interceptions.  And then-sophomore running back Zamir White has 159 yards good for 6.3 yards per attempt with three touchdowns.   Kearis Jackson leads all receivers with 15 catches good for 209 yards and 13.0 yards per catch.

Tennessee has paid in 10 of their last 14 as road dogs.  While six of their last seven as a way pups stayed under.  UT is 5-2-1 vs. the bet on NCAAF odds at SEC opponents.  Five of their last six in that place stayed under.

To summarize Georgia has paid in three of their last four against Tennessee.  Eight of the last 11 in this series cleared the total.  Contrarily at Sanford Stadium Tennessee has covered three of their last four.  Four of the last five in this series at Georgia went over.
