North Carolina vs. Texas A&M CashBet Wagering Analysis

To show, the online sportsbook line moved 2.5-points towards Texas A&M.  The Masses don’t like UNC missing the services of 1000-yard backs Michael Carter and Javonte Williams.  So too is 1000-yard receiver Dyami Brown out.  Also factoring into the price is the strong finish by the Aggies.  Texas A&M made a compelling case for the College Football Playoff.

“Aggie Yell” Takes on New Meaning

Following a sluggish start, Texas A&M won their final seven games.  The Aggies are 8-1 straight up, 5-4 against the spread, and 4-5 under the total.  Texas A&M ranks 42nd in the nation for scoring offense and 26th for points allowed.  As a result, they became a hot bet on NCAAF property.

Senior quarterback Kellen Mond is not a dynamic game-breaker.  But he’s a highly effective game manager.  For 2020 he posted a career-best 147.9 QB rating with 19 touchdown passes and just 3 interceptions.  While sophomore running back Isaiah Spiller kept enemy defenses honest with 986 yards, 5.6 yards per rush, and 7 touchdowns.

Coach Jimbo Fisher was panned after a blowout loss to Alabama.  Since then, he’s been vindicated.  Fisher uses an old-school approach of power running, play-action passing, and strong defense for success.  Since he departed, Florida State has been in free fall.  It has become apparent why Fisher left for College Station.  Texas A&M will do anything to win.

Mack Attack’s Second Coming Sparks Glory

North Carolina is 8-3 straight up, 5-6 against the spread, and 6-5 over the total.  North Carolina ranks 7th in the nation for scoring offense and 60th for points allowed.  Last time out UNC destroyed Miami 62-26 as 3-point road dogs. The wrong team was the Betting on college football favorite.

While North Carolina isn’t at full strength they boast one of the nation’s best quarterbacks.  Sophomore Sam Howell lit up enemy defenses like a video game in 2020.  To illuminate Howell has a 182.2 QB rating, 10.6 yards per pass, and 27 touchdown passes.  For his efforts, Howell was named second-team All-ACC.  Last year he was ACC Rookie of the Year.

Coach Mack Brown’s return to Chapel Hill was met with great enthusiasm by Tar Heel faithful.  By contrast, the rest of the nation voiced their doubts.  Brown has had the last laugh.  In just two years he has transformed the UNC program.  Further, he validated his status as one of the game’s great coaches.  Consider Texas has never been the same since he departed.

North Carolina vs. Texas A&M CashBet Free Pick

In this situation, the Tar Heels are outmanned.  Fashion that three of their most productive players are out.  Texas A&M is will have an advantage on front-line personnel.  Also, their style of play should wear down the Tar Heels.  North Carolina has emerged as a respected Betting on NCAAF team.  But NFL opt-outs are not in anyone’s control.  In view of Texas A&M’s late surge, they make the better pick.
