Denver Broncos CashBet 2022 Futures Odds and Betting Analysis

Since the retirement of Peyton Manning after the 2015 Super Bowl championship season, Denver has faltered.  The Broncos didn’t have a credible quarterback in the following seasons.  Fortunately for Denver fans, that Super Bowl best misery is over.  In fact, there’s more excitement in Colorado for this Broncos season than there has been for several years.  Russell Wilson got the Broncos off the often-depressing quarterback carousel.  For many years, gamblers believed that the Broncos were a playoff team.  But they were held down by the lack of production from their quarterbacks.

A Mile High Return to Glory?  CashBet NFL Future Odds Analysis

Naturally, Russell Wilson has been one of the great quarterbacks of this era.  The closest thing to a one-man NFL team.  Wilson can consistently make something happen when everything breaks down in front of him.  He helped the Seattle Seahawks win a Super Bowl.  Not to mention a lot of sportsbook wagers during his time in Seattle.

In sum, Seattle went 104-53-1 in his regular-season starts.  Yet the Seahawks gave up on him when, at age 33, he should have many good years left.  Seattle should ask the Broncos how difficult it is to replace a great quarterback.  Correlate that the Broncos have good Betting on Super Bowl talent.  That’s a reason Wilson waived his no-trade clause for the Broncos.

Since his arrival, Wilson has said all of the right things.  He can come off as a corporate politician at times.  But his commitment to winning has never been questioned.  His hard work to recover from finger surgery has been a source of admiration.  Thus, Wilson will be ready with his new team, and he’ll change the Super Bowl betting odds expectations too.

There is a Reason for the New Belief This Season

Previously, elite quarterbacks have changed teams for the better with immediate success.  Manning, Tom Brady, Brett Favre, Kurt Warner, and Joe Montana transformed new clubs well into their 30s.  No doubt that Wilson can do the same.

Indeed, it has been an offseason of change in Denver.  The addition of Wilson has overshadowed that the Broncos have a new coach.  And Wilson alone has dramatically changed Denver’s brand for future market Super Bowl betting.

A New Head Coach with Superstar QB Credentials

Nathaniel Hackett arrives as the new Denver head coach.  Previously he was the Green Bay Packers offensive coordinator.  He worked with another superstar quarterback at Green Bay, Aaron Rodgers.

Additionally, the Broncos have a new owner too.  Since the death of Pat Bowlen, the Broncos’ ownership was an unsettled distraction that finally got an overdue resolution.  Rob Walton bought the team for $4.65 billion.  It’s truly a new era of Broncos football.

Of course, it will be a major letdown if Wilson and Hackett don’t lead Denver to the playoffs.  Especially after Broncos fans have waited so long for competent quarterback play.  There are excellent receivers, two good running backs, and a serviceable offensive line.  At the same time, the defense has some talent that emphasizes a quality secondary.

A Real Look at the Lombardi Trophy

Certainly, Wilson gives the Broncos a chance to return to the playoffs for the first time since Manning’s final game.  Denver fans and gamblers are bullish on the 2022 season.

Russell Wilson should still have a few dominant campaigns left.  In turn, general manager George Paton deserves respect for finally figuring out a solution to the QB position.  In sum, Denver traded first, second, and fifth-round picks this year, 2023 first and second-round picks, tight end Noah Fant, defensive end Shelby Harris and quarterback Drew Lock to Seattle.  But in return, they got Wilson and a 2022 fourth-round pick.  That’s a massive price but nobody in Denver or at sportsbooks cares.
