Arizona Cardinals vs Minnesota Vikings Wagering Analysis
The Cardinals (3-4-0) are in fourth place in a tight NFC West and the victory against the Saints kept the division tight as they are a game behind first place Seattle Seahawks. However, they face a tough assignment against a streaking Minnesota (5-1-0) squad who now pace the NFC North. A win by the Vikings would put them a comfortable three games ahead of divisional pursuers Green Bay and Chicago.
Arizona Cardinals
The Cardinals remained in contention in the NFC West standings with a win over the Saints, 42-34. Kyler Murray passed for 204 yards and recorded a touchdown while DeAndre Hopkins received 103 yards. Arizona’s defense did the damage in the game against Andy Dalton and New Orleans as it had two pick-sixes (three interceptions overall), courtesy of Isaiah Simmons and Marco Wilson. Murray has passed for 1,667 yards and recorded seven touchdowns for the season. Eric Benjamin leads the team in rushing yards with 265 yards and two TDs. Marquise Brown is the team’s top receiver with a 485-yard production and three TDs.
Minnesota Vikings
The Vikings extended their winning streak to four with a 24-16 win over the Miami Dolphins. Signal-caller Kirk Cousins passed for 175 yards and two touchdowns and Justin Jefferson had 107 yards receiving. The Vikings defenses forced three turnovers on the Dolphins offenses to generate more possessions. Cousins leads the squad with 1,502 passing yards and nine TDs. Dalvin Cook is the team’s top running back with 450 rushing yards and four TDs. Jefferson is the Vikings’ receiving stud with 654 yards in six games and two TDs.
