Miami Hurricanes vs. Clemson Tigers Betting Info and Cashbet Odds

Clemson is getting exposed.  At the beginning of 2021, their offense fell apart.  This year there was the hope that new offensive and defensive coordinators would jumpstart the program.  It follows that Clemson has been good but not great.  The final straw was an abysmal NCAAF bets loss at the Notre Dame Fighting Irish.  The Atlantic Coast Conference is falling behind on revenue.  Cause by a terrible TV deal they are locked into for several more years.  Eventually, the ACC will have to reboot or risk becoming a Group of five league.  Clemson is not a true CFP contender.

Miami vs. Clemson CashBet Wagering Analysis

The Miami Hurricanes will get strong best sportsbook online consideration from Wise Guys as an improvement program that can bring good value.  Miami is coming off a win that gives them an incentive for a bowl game.  By contrast, Clemson is starting to turn off gamblers with its name-brand prices but lackluster results.

Hurricanes Finally Strike Payout Window

Last game, the Miami Hurricanes won 35-14 against the Georgia Tech Yellow Jackets as 2-point road dogs.  The game went over the total of 43.  Miami has a record of 5-5 straight up, 2-8 against the spread, and 4-6 over/under the total.  Miami ranks 65th for total offense, 43rd for passing, 83rd for rushing, and 85th for scoring.  Defensively they rank 41st overall, 74th against the pass, 35th against the rush, and 48th for points allowed.  Also, Miami ranks 128th for fewest turnovers lost and 17th for takeaways.

As a result of their win, Miami is back into the Betting on College Football bowl conversation.  First year coach Mario Cristobal needs that to enhance recruiting.

Clemson Recovers with Methodical Win

Last game, the Clemson Tigers won 31-16 against the Louisville Cardinals as 6.5-point home favorites.  The game went under the bet on NCAAF total of 51.5.  Clemson has a record of 9-1 straight up, 5-5 against the spread, and 5-5 over/under the total.  Clemson ranks 53rd for total offense, 72nd for passing, 46th for rushing, and 28th for scoring.  Defensively they rank 34rth overall, 71st against the pass, 22nd against the rush, and 28th for points allowed.  Also, Clemson ranks 105th for fewest turnovers lost and 65th for takeaways.

DJ Uiagalelei had plenty of his own accomplishments to feel great about in Clemson’s win.  Instead, the Tigers’ starting quarterback gushed about teammate Will Shipley’s picture-perfect hurdle over Cardinals safety M.J. Griffin on a touchdown run.  Uiagalelei ran for a score and threw for a second.

To illustrate, Shipley, the Tigers’ tailback, put up a signature play in the third quarter Saturday with a straight-ahead, 25-yard burst.  He hurdled Louisville safety Griffin to reach the end zone.  And after Shipley landed, he moved between two other defenders to finish off the scoring run that put the Tigers ahead 24-10.  Accordingly, the effort from all the Tigers was a welcome result after the team’s first loss of the season, 35-14, at Notre Dame.

Now the Tigers claim the berth as solo division champs.  Clemson improved to improve to 8-0 all-time over Louisville.  The Cardinals, who came in with a four-game win streak, played the second half without standout quarterback Malik Cunningham.  Cause by an injury on the last play of the second quarter.

In sum, Uiagalelei completed 19 of 27 throws for 185 yards.  Phil Mafah ran for 106 yards and Shipley 97 as the Tigers finished with 248 yards on the ground.

Following their strong performance, Clemson should have regained confidence.  But the offense still lost three fumbles (two by Shipley).  At the same time, the defense was hit for several big plays that kept Louisville in the game longer than necessary.
