Arkansas Host Arkansas in Betting Matchup of Aspiring SEC Teams Predictions

Arkansas Volunteers vs. Arkansas Razorbacks NCAAF Betting preview

Pressure’s mounting for Tennessee coach Jeremy Pruitt.  Now in his third season, he’s not improving the program fast enough.  Pruitt is doing no better than disrespected predecessor Butch Jones.  In fact, Jones made more progress by year three.  Following a blowout home loss to Alabama Pruitt pleaded with fans.  He claims there is more College football betting progress than what meets the eye.  But it’s difficult for a lost generation to believe anymore. By contrast, new Arkansas coach Sam Pittman has made remarkable progress.   Ironically Pittman was a fallback choice for Arkansas.  His performance has earned credibility.

Tennessee Volunteers at Arkansas Razorbacks CashBet Wagering Analysis

On this occasion, Tennessee has little online sportsbook appeal.  Of great concern is that the masses are catching on to Arkansas.

Volunteers Return from Bye with Questions and Doubts

Last week was a much-needed bye for Tennessee.  Tennessee is 2-3 straight up, 1-3-1 against the spread, and 2-3 under the total.  The Volunteers have lost three in a row.  And are coming off a 48-17 Betting on college football home loss to Alabama.  Overall Tennessee has national rankings of 88th for total offense and 82nd for scoring.  Defensively the Volunteers rank 59th overall, and 70th for points allowed.

Namely quarterback Jarrett Guarantano gets much of the blame from fans.  Pruitt has failed to find a better alternative in his three seasons at Tennessee.  Ultimately that’s on the coach.

Razorbacks Hogging the Cashier’s Cage

To begin with, Arkansas paid in Saturday night’s 42-31 bet on NCAAF loss at Texas A&M.  Arkansas is 2-3 straight up, 5-0 against the spread, and 2-3 under the total.  The Razorbacks have national metrics of 76th for offense and 75th for scoring.  Defensively the Razorbacks rank 65th overall and 51st for points allowed

Fashion that character has made Arkansas a strong betting value.  It is true that the Hogs lack great national metrics.  And that they don’t do anything particularly well.  What Arkansas brings is the best attitude of any team in the SEC.  Now long-suffering Razorback fans have reason to believe in the future.  Big things can be dreamed of unlike before Pittman’s arrival.

Defensive coordinator Barry Odom has made a major impact for Arkansas.  He has been instrumental in Arkansas ranking third nationally for takeaways.

Tennessee Volunteers at Arkansas Razorbacks Against the Spread

Tennessee has covered just 13 of their last 30 total games.  Following a loss, the Volunteers are 7-6 vs. the odds.  Tennessee has only 10 payouts in their last 21 SEC matchups.  UT has gone under the total in 19 of their last 30 games.  While in SEC matchups the Volunteers have gone under in 13 of their last 21.  On the road, Tennessee is 3-7 under the total.  Following a bye week, the Vols are 3-2 over the total.

Arkansas is 13-14 against the spread in all games.  And then in SEC matchups, the Razorbacks are 11-9 vs. the line.  At home, Arkansas is 8-7 on the board.  To summarize the Razorbacks have gone under in 17 of their last 28 games.  In SEC matchups the Hogs are 8-12 under the number.

Head to head Arkansas has covered eight of their last 10 with the Volunteers.  Correlate three of the last four between these teams went under the total.  At DWR Razorback Stadium Tennessee has failed to get the money in their last five visits.  Two of the last three between these teams at Arkansas have gone under.

As mentioned earlier Tennessee struggles to get the money at Arkansas.  If you ride a Betting on NCAAF streak you can only lose once.  More emphatically Arkansas has shown more than Tennessee.
